Job openings are available and are increasing. Expensive Northern States have lost population. Companies are researching to shift their supply chains to ensure that they have customers to sell to and vendors to buy from.

California has the most manufacturing jobs in the United States. Specifically, California has over 1.2 million manufacturing jobs and over 35,000 manufacturing firms. Texas follows with around 1.2 million manufacturing workers. The top 10 states for manufacturing jobs are California, Texas, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana, Wisconsin, and New York.
