After November

It is likely that the Republicans will take the Whitehouse and the Senate.  So what does that mean ?   It should mean cuts in government spending and modifications of future entitlements.  I expect government hiring to freeze and actual layoffs of government employees to occur.  What will actually happen is anybody’s guess.

We know that cities are attempting to hold budgets tight.  Many cities are squirreling away overcharges in surplus accounts because they expect another round of layoffs, foreclosures and lower property taxes.  Counties and states are doing the same.
Again, there have been global bubbles building for some time, including the European government debt problems, the forever money printing of the Federal Reserve, the never-ending U.S. government $1 trillion a year of overspending and the U.S. government’s war on the American people through overspending, overregulation and destroying our free market system required for us to make a living.  We are entering a global recession, so profits of global companies should suffer.  We expect the stock markets to leap lower in 2013, further decimating the goofy pension plans that ride the market like a mechanical bull.

Romney has promised to save us from another $2 trillion in Obamacare mal-investment and the current overreaching EPA regulation.  He may unleash oil drilling and save our coal generating electric power plants from closure. Beyond that, we’re not sure it won’t be a series of timid actions, too weak to actually notice a difference.
What we wish Romney would do, is to remove all the destructive, treasonous subversive activity now being done by the current administration to truly restart our free economy.  Canceling Executive orders like Agenda 21 would be a good start.  Most of the treason and destructive spending can be traced back to Agenda 21.

Romney should be bold in unleashing all production in the U.S.  There is no excuse for putting farmers out of work; the world will buy our exports.  There is no excuse to prevent timber harvesting and mining in the U.S. either.  We would be happy to see taxes and regulations pulled back to facilitate the return of manufacturing to our small towns.
We actually need to dismantle the unconstitutional federal government structure and remove many departments and agencies to ensure that their destructive influence does not return.

Norb Leahy, Dunwoody GA Tea Party Leader
