Bad GA Amendment Ahead

A ballot vote is scheduled for November 2016 to amend the Georgia Constitution to allow Governor Deal the authority to identify “non-performing schools” and remove them from their County School Board Jurisdiction.  This change would put the Governor in charge of these schools.  He would make them State Charter Schools and remove elective governance.

This is part of UN Agenda 21 and their requirement that the US abandon “elective office” in favor of “appointed, unelected bureaucrats”. This removes the taxpayers from the picture.  It is based on Regionalism and the USSR Constitution model for “appointed, unelected bureaucrats” to take over as Commissars.

What is broken is what School Boards are allowed to administer.  It is mainly building schools to the benefit of the school building industry in Georgia and the army of bankers and lawyers involved in selling Bonds.  This is where all the money goes.  School buildings should be built to last 100 years and not replaced every 20 years.

School Boards need to be free to ensure that the curriculum isn’t harmful.  This would require not taking any federal grants or aid.  It would also require sovereign districts without State mandates. Schools need to be sovereign with Parents,Teachers and Principals in charge of the curriculum, the textbooks and the process. In no case should schools be taken over by private businesses or consultants.

Our first questions should be about how we can ban the federal government from influencing the public school curriculum including a ban on Common Core and Muslim and Marxist indoctrination.

Slick Sales Job Afoot

The AJC 11/20/15, Schools Overhaul Proposed article is the first of a year-long barrage of the advantages of State Charter Schools proposed by Gov. Deal.
