Lawsuits

Lawsuits are out of control.  In the beginning, a lawsuit was a tool to protect private property. Breach of contract was a common reason for filing a lawsuit. Bankruptcy laws were added to offer some protection to the defendant. It still works.  The law puts pressure on the parties to induce them to arrive at a settlement to avoid the added legal and court expense of a trial.

To avoid lawsuit abuse, the loser should be forced to pay all the court and legal expenses for the person they sewed.  Frivolous harassment lawsuits would disappear.

Awards should be based on actual dollar losses including legal costs, but not “pain and suffering” that was invented by law firms who wanted million dollar fees.

School systems are routinely sewed by atheists and communists to wage the war on Christianity. These plaintiffs should not have standing to file these lawsuits.

Malpractice cases should be outlawed to lower healthcare costs. County Medical Associations should handle malpractice with suspension of licenses, requirements for specific training and revoking licenses.

The other problem with lawsuits these days is the reasons for these lawsuits.  The introduction of anti-discrimination lawsuits creates a predatory plaintiff looking for a victim defendant.
