The Kingdom if Israel was established in 1407
BC
When Moses died. The Israelites had escaped
their captivity from Egypt and established control from the River of Egypt to
the Euphrates River. Israel grew during the reign of King David (1000BC to
970BC) and Solomon 970BC-931BC). King David established Jerusalem as its capitol
in 1000BC. During expansions Israel controlled the land of Canaan.
Canaan was the name of a large and prosperous ancient country
(at times independent, at others a tributary to Egypt) located in present-day
Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Israel and was also known as Phoenicia. ...
According to the Bible the land was named after a man called Canaan, the grandson of Noah
(Genesis 10).
During contractions, Israel pulled back from
Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. Israel was
conquered by the Assyria in 722BC, the Babylon in 539BC and the Romans in 63BC.
Jews had continued to live in Palestine under Roman rule.
Palestine was bordered by Egypt, Jordan, Syria
and Lebanon and was under British control in 1948.
When the state of
Israel was re-established in 1948, the Arabs living in the surrounding area
went to war with Israel. Palestine was a “district of Syria” in 5 BC between
Phoenicia and Egypt. Israel
1967 War – Arab countries declared war on
Israel. In a pre-emptive attack on Egypt that
drew Syria and Jordan into a regional war in
1967, Israel made massive territorial gains capturing the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights and
the Sinai Peninsula up
to the Suez Canal.
Israel has been
attacked by various Muslim groups for the past 70 years from its founding in
1948 to present day 2018. Peace talks have continued, but most of Palestine is
controlled by Islamic Terror group Hezbollah funded by Iran and dedicated to
destroying Israel.
Israel Foreign
Relations - Israel finds itself with more allies in 2018. They continued their
good relationship with Egypt they won in the 1970s and now Saudi Arabia views
Israel as an ally. Islamic terror organizations have worn out their welcome in
Arabia. Attacks on Israel have been isolated to missiles from Gaza.
