The Russian Revolution

The ravages of World War I (1914-1918) spread the seeds of discontent in the Russian population. The Russian Czar joined England and France in the war against Germany.  The war had devastated Russia.  The Czar became the scapegoat, abdicated in 1917 and was captured by the Bolsheviks and killed along with his family in 1918.  A provisional government was formed, but was overthrown by the Bolsheviks who created the USSR in 1917 with Vladimir Lenin as its leader. This sparked the Russian Civil War.

The Russian Civil War (1917-1922) raged between the Red Russians, fighting for the Bolshevik form of Socialism and the White Russians and Ukraine’s Green Army, who opposed it. Western countries gave some support the White and Green Armies.

World War I came to a close in 1918.  The revolution spilled over into neighboring countries who divided Red and White. The Whites were land-owners and free-market freedom-lovers.

The Russian Army had dissolved in 1917, so the Bolsheviks needed a treaty with Germany to get the German Army to withdraw from Russia.  Western banks funded the Red Army with loans. The Red Army and the Bolsheviks prevailed because they used terror tactics to draft Russians into the Red Army and they were well funded by the West. A period of mass starvation and brutality ensued from 1922 forward.

Comments

Our Bolsheviks are Marxist groups funded by Soros, paid to burn down our cities and the Obama Administration ending the rule of law.

We face the same fate, but our demise would more likely be caused by a financial crisis and dollar crash created by government overspending on Agenda 21 implementation, big government debt, too much money printing and excessive immigration. The plan for our demise is outlined in UN Agenda 21. Our only hope is to restore and preserve the US Constitution and use the 10th Amendment to remove unconstitutional activities and cut the federal government down to size.

Pope Francis Astray

Catholic group exposes Red influence in the Vatican

FacebookTwitterGoogle+
By Cliff Kincaid May 27, 2015

Doing the research and investigative work that the major U.S. media have all but abandoned, an organization called the American Life League (ALL) has uncovered dramatic evidence of links between the highest levels of the Roman Catholic Church and an international communist group known as the World Social Forum. The evidence suggests overt Marxist influence on the climate change movement that Pope Francis and his top advisers are now embracing.

The ALL report,
a 76-page PowerPoint presentation complete with original source material and numerous photographs, documents how Caritas Internationalis, the Vatican's top social justice organization, is actually "providing leadership" to the communist group.

The report's author, Michael Hichborn,
stated, "This is a very serious problem. Given how intimately connected the World Social Forum (WSF) has been with the promotion of communism, abortion, and homosexuality since the very beginning, it's impossible to see how any Catholic can participate in it, or even speak positively about it, let alone have any involvement in its governance. But Caritas Internationalis does!"

These allegations can't be dismissed as anti-Catholic bigotry, since the American Life League is itself a Catholic organization that has been working for years to expose Catholic funds and organizations that promote causes at variance with official Catholic teaching.

However, Hichborn tells Accuracy in Media that except for specialized publications such as
Lifesitenews, the media have ignored the report.

The ALL report on the WSF includes eye-opening photographs from the group's events, featuring open displays of communist flags and banners as well as images of such personalities as Lenin, Castro, and Mao.

Most of our media, of course, reported on the "death" of communism after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

But the ALL report notes that "There can be no mistaking the materialist and revolutionary (Communist) nature of the forum itself, which sets it in opposition to the Catholic Church."

Hichborn told AIM that he delivered a copy of the report to the Vatican office known as
Cor Unum, but that nothing came of it, and that one Vatican official concerned about the issue was relieved of his duties.

ALL identifies the other Catholic groups involved in the activities of the WSF as Pax Christi, Center of Concern, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, Catholic Relief Services, and CIDSE, an international alliance of Catholic development agencies.

An independent review of the ALL report confirms the research into the links between Caritas Internationalis and the WSF. In fact, a document on the Caritas website still
affirms that "Caritas has been involved in the WSF since its beginnings. Caritas believes it's an opportunity to exchange ideas and to build the momentum towards real change."

After the ALL report was released, a conference at the Vatican was sponsored by Caritas Internationalis that featured Jeffrey Sachs, the Columbia University professor and Special Advisor to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, and Gustavo Gutierrez, the father of Marxist-oriented Liberation Theology.

As Accuracy in Media
reported, Sachs wrote an article for the Jesuit publication America attacking the "American idea" of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as narrow and selfish. He suggests that America's founding document is outmoded and incompatible with his idea of Catholic teaching about social justice.

Sachs is an advocate of global taxes to extract hundreds of billions of dollars from the American people in order to finance some form of world government. The climate change movement, based on dubious science, is the most popular current vehicle that Sachs and others are using to bring this about.

Seizing on Sachs' extraordinary remarks in a major Catholic publication, the well-known writer Edward Cline
comments on the Family Security Matters website that "It would take a village – or, at least, the 'global' one – to subjugate and sack America. That is what is being proposed by Jeffrey Sachs."

The Cline piece carries the title "The 'Sach-ing' of America," and he concludes that "In its essentials, Sachs' plan for the future sacking of America differs little from Islam's."

In short, the American way of life is at risk, this time from a Vatican alliance with America's academic elites and the U.N.

The World Social Forum itself just held another international conference focusing on one aspect of the Sachs agenda: global taxes. The WSF announced the launch of the
Global Alliance for Tax Justice, including a statement that "Our vision entails progressive redistributive taxation polices that fund the vital public services, end inequality and poverty, address climate change and lead to sustainable development."

The topic fits nicely with the expected papal encyclical on climate change.

At the Caritas conference, Pope Francis adviser Cardinal Oscar Rodríguez Maradiaga
said that critics of the proposed papal document are advocates of an "ideology" that he concludes "is too tied to a capitalism that doesn't want to stop ruining the environment because they don't want to give up their profits."

Critics are concerned because of the pope's several statements indicating hostility to the system of capitalism and free markets that has brought prosperity to hundreds of millions of people.

This kind of Marxist rhetoric from a top Vatican adviser makes it appear as if the pope has aligned himself with an ideology that, despite the "collapse" of communism, is still very much alive, and which the
Black Book of Communism says has already claimed 100 million lives.

The recent cordial Francis visit with Cuban dictator Raul Castro only adds to the growing concern.

"Pope Francis will give us his encyclical letter on ecology,"
said Maradiaga, anticipating its impact. "This year is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for the future of our world and the lives of future generations."

The title of the Caritas conference was "One Human Family, Caring for Creation." But it appears that the "caring" part lies in replacing capitalism with structures of "global governance" that involve a massive transfer of political and economic power to international organizations like the United Nations.

After Maradiaga stepped down, he was replaced by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle of Manila, Philippines, as the new president of Caritas Internationalis. But Maradiaga continues as the coordinator of a group of nine cardinals that serves as Francis's Council of Cardinals. © Cliff Kincaid

Hillary’s Illegal Foundation

Clinton Foundation Used By Hillary To Secretly Pay Political Hitman And Amateur Spy, Sid Blumenthal; See 2016 Buzz By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN, Published on TheDailyHillary.com on May 28, 2015

What was Sidney Blumenthal hired to do for his $120,000 a year full-time salary at the Clinton Foundation during the four years that Hillary was Secretary of State? Was he hired to provide off-the-shelf intelligence to Hillary? And to trash her critics and possible opponents? That's what it looks like.

Blumenthal has always been Hillary's expert on the vast right wing conspiracy and he is superb at stoking her paranoia and investigating and attacking anyone who threatens the Clinton orbit. He's the one that spread the groundless rumor, conceived by Hillary, that Monica Lewinsky was an unwelcome and unstable stalker of an innocent president. Anything for Hillary.

We know that Sidney sent 20 dense emails chock full of cloak and dagger "intel" about Libya and Algeria to the Secretary of State. We also know that Hillary took Sid's information and advice seriously and circulated his emails to her top aides in the State Department (after scrubbing Sid's name).

There's something else we know: Sidney had absolutely no experience in foreign affairs and the source of his information was, in part, a party with a financial interest in Libya.

What we didn't know was that shortly after the Obama Administration refused to allow Hillary to hire Sidney, he landed on the Clinton Foundation payroll -- as a full-time employee with a big salary and benefits. After Hillary left the State Department, Sidney was demoted to a consultant -- he kept his salary but the benefits were cut. It was only a few months ago -- in March -- that he left the Clinton Foundation. Right about the time that his emails surfaced.

At the same time that he worked full-time at the Foundation, Sidney also worked for Media Matters -- the aggressive pro-Hillary group headed by the wacky David Brock. In addition, Sidney was a consultant to a pro-Hillary PAC. He was a busy man -- consumed with defending Hillary.

So Sidney was at Hillary's full disposal while she was Secretary of State. Sidney's claims that he sent the emails as a "private citizen" don't sound too good. He may have been a private citizen, but he was paid by the Clintons.
So maybe his "unsolicited" advice on Libya wasn't so unsolicited after all.

When Hillary was asked about Sidney's emails, she never mentioned his employment at the Clinton Foundation. Here's what she said: "We've been friends for a long time," said Clinton during an event in Iowa. "He sent me emails I passed on in some instances. That's part of the give and take...I'm going to keep talking to my old friends, whoever they are."

Once again, Clinton is skirting the truth. Initially, when Blumenthal's connection to the Clinton Foundation was made public, a spokesman said that he helped with "research" and "planning a commemorative event."

Now that we know that he was a full-time employee, the Clinton Foundation is now saying that Sidney worked on President Clinton's "legacy."

It's now obvious that Sidney was there to help Hillary in her political work. That's not what the Clinton Foundation is supposed to be doing.

Blumenthal has been subpoenaed by the Benghazi Committee. Here's one question it should ask: Did Sidney Blumenthal do any work -- with Media Matters, for example, -- to counter criticisms of Hillary's role in Benghazi?

ONE MORE QUESTION: What other political activities were funded by the Clinton Foundation?

Takedown

WASHINGTON -- We are witnessing a watershed moment in American cultural history. The Left has been trying to sabotage family and marriage for generations, going back to the nineteenth century when they declared moral authority to be dead. From the birth control advocates in the early twentieth century to the sexual revolution of the 1960s, extreme-left radicals have made their arguments and tried different tactics, but at long last they have the vehicle to make it happen: gay marriage. Now, as the legal definition of marriage rapidly changes, the floodgates are open, and the fundamental transformation of the American family will take on new speed and new dimensions. The communist left cannot and should not be ignored in this long process to bring down the family structure.

In Takedown: From Communists to Progressives, How the Left Has Sabotaged Family and Marriage, Paul Kengor exposes these origins, starting with Karl Marx, and traces them through the sordid history of people like Margaret Sanger, Wilhelm Reich, Herbert Marcuse, and assorted '60s radicals. What were once fringe concepts have been accepted and are even celebrated in the mainstream, including by many legislators and judges. Kengor notes how in the not-so-distant past, today's leftists who are attacking traditional marriage would have loudly raised their voices but not caused any real damage. They would have been dismissed as left-wing cranks, crackpot German and Austrian atheistic philosophers and campus agitators with no serious concern. But now, with formal legalization of same-sex marriage afoot, they are getting what they’ve wanted for generations: the literal redefinition of the family.

Released by WND Books this week, Takedown exposes how gay marriage is serving as a Trojan horse for the far left to secure the final takedown of marriage that it has long wanted, and how countless everyday Americans are oblivious to the deeper forces at work. Takedown takes no prisoners and bluntly shows the reader that even Karl Marx and his more anti-marriage comrade Engels would be dumbfounded at the mere thought that modern Americans would gladly join them in their rejection of God's design for natural marriage and the family.

Obama Hindering ISIS Fight

Pilots BLAST Obama Combat Rules They say are Crippling the War Effort
Bizpac Review) – Frustrated American pilots and retired generals are striking out at the Obama Pentagon’s restrictive rules of engagement and White House micromanagement they say are crippling the war against Islamic State terrorists before it even gets off the ground.
“There were times I had groups of ISIS fighters in my sights, but couldn’t get clearance to engage,” one F-18 Navy pilot told Fox News.
“They probably killed innocent people and spread evil because of my inability to kill them,” he added. “It was frustrating.”
Pilots are forced to seek approval before engaging each target, a process they say takes an hour on the average. By the time approval is received, conditions on the ground or the air often change.
“You’re talking about hours in some cases, which by that time the particular tactical target left the area and or the aircraft has run out of fuel,” retired Lt. Gen. David Deptula, a former director of the Combined Air Operations Center in Afghanistan, told Fox News. “These are excessive procedures that are handing our adversary an advantage.” And he places the blame directly on the steps of the White House.
“The ultimate guidance rests in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue,” he said. “We have been applying air power like a rain shower or a drizzle. For it to be effective, it needs to be applied like a thunderstorm.”
The U.S. Air Force’s Central Command pushed back at the complaints. “We refute the idea that close air support strikes take ‘an hour on average.’ Depending on the how complex the target environment is, a strike could take place in less than 10 minutes or it could take much longer,” a central command spokesman said, according to Fox News.
“As our leaders have said, this is a long-term fight, and we will not alienate civilians, the Iraqi government or our coalition partners by striking targets indiscriminately.”
Fox News Pentagon correspondent Jennifer Griffin told Shepard Smith Wednesday that U.S. pilots are averaging 14 strikes per day targeting the Islamic State. “Compare that to the first Gulf War,” she said. “The United States averaged 1,125 strikes per day. In Kosovo 135 strikes a day.”
But a senior defense official called those unfair comparisons. “The Gulf War and Kosovo are not reasonable comparisons. In those instances, we were fighting conventional forces. Today, we are supporting a fight against terrorists who blend into the civilian population,” he said. “Our threshold for civilian casualties and collateral damage is low. We don’t want to own this fight. We have reliable partners on the ground.” But it’s not just the pilots who are frustrated — allies are too.
Iraqi officials are complaining that the Obama administration’s excessive caution in approving airstrikes is giving the terrorists a huge advantage, according to The New York Times.
The seven buildings comprising Islamic State headquarters, located in Raqqa, Syria, for instance, have been off limits for targeting in the 10 months since they were first identified, out of a fear of collateral damage to the civilian population.
They also cite numerous missed opportunities to strike troop movements. The Times reported:
And just last week, convoys of heavily armed Islamic State fighters paraded triumphantly through the streets of the provincial capital Ramadi in western Iraq after forcing Iraqi troops to flee. They rolled on unscathed by coalition fighter-bombers.
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., recently charged that 75 percent of U.S. pilots return to base without having released a single weapon, according to Fox. It’s not a way to win a war.

What’s up with Ireland

You Need To Know What Really Happened In Ireland by Dr. Michael Brown, Barbwire.com, Email Featured 57 Comments
I almost never do this, but I felt it was very important to share a letter with you so that the whole world could understand what really happened in Ireland as this predominantly Catholic nation voted decisively to redefine marriage.
After the vote, I posted this on Facebook:
What can we learn from the vote to redefine marriage in Ireland, a traditionally Catholic country?
1) Traditional “Christian” religion cannot stop the juggernaut of gay activism. Only a living, vibrant faith will have the energy and commitment and depth to stand firm.
2) Sex-scandals in the Catholic Church in the 1990’s robbed the Church of its moral authority. How can the Church speak to the society about sexual morality when it has largely disqualified itself? Scandals like this take a long time to get over, and here in America, we have been plagued by Evangelical scandals as well, involving some of our well-known leaders. To the extent we are deemed hypocritical, to that extent we lack moral authority.
3) Ireland was not ready for the massive influx of gay activist funding from America. Sadly, from President Obama down, America has been an aggressive force for normalizing homosexuality, and without American funding and vision, it is doubtful that Ireland would have voted so strongly for such radical change.
What happened in Ireland should be a wake-up call for the Church worldwide.
In response to my post, a woman who supports our ministry and lives in Ireland wrote to me, concerned that I was implying that believers in Ireland “hadn’t done enough to get the Gospel out.” (Actually, the reverse was true: I wanted people to understand the opposition they faced.)
She continued: “Let me tell you more about what really happened here…”
What she wrote is so important, giving detailed support to what I had read elsewhere, that I wanted to shout it from the rooftops for everyone to hear. There was extraordinary pressure brought against those who stood for marriage in Ireland, and the vote hardly reflects an unbiased enlightenment.
She wrote:
I am an Irish citizen who voted and campaigned for a NO vote. For anyone who thinks we were negligent concerning the Gospel or in any other way, let me tell you some of what we were up against…
This news is devastating to the nearly 37.9% of us who voted NO, many of us born again Christians.
We tried so hard to prevent it, but were up against every political party and up against millions of US dollars that were being poured into the yes campaign.
American billionaire, Chuck Feeney alone contributed over $24 million. Every ‘civil rights’ group on the block was behind the yes vote.
When NO vote campaign signs were posted in Dublin and other places, they were vandalized. Public media is supposed to allow 50:50 coverage for each side of a constitutional issue. This was blatantly ignored.
The public police force was drafted in to support the YES vote and to register college students to vote, and they passed out YES badges to each student as they did so.
And these things are only part of the story. The pressure was incessant and unbelievable. Even the ballot paper was biased. We argued that the term ‘marriage equality’ was biased, but yet that term made it on to the ballot paper.
Meanwhile, Christians fasted and prayed. We passed out flyers. We used social media to communicate our concerns. But all this was on a very grass roots level.
Only the Iona Institute stood up for the No vote. Only three representatives in our entire Dail (our parliament) stood up for a No vote.
Is there any small nation on earth that would survive such an onslaught? I’m actually amazed that the NO vote was as high as 37.9% after what I have seen.
As for the Gospel, can any of us really do ‘enough’? No matter how much we do, will we not always wish we could do more? We have God on our side though. I believe He has allowed this to happen for His reasons. But we will have the ultimate victory.
Sadly, the tried and true tactics of bullying, intimidation, media bombardment, aggressive activism, and massive US funding won another victory for the gay revolution.
But this Irish Christian woman is absolutely right: We will have the ultimate victory (not over gays but in the Lord), which is one of the main points I make in my newest book, due out in September, Outlasting the Gay Revolution: Where Homosexual Activism Is Really Going and How to Turn the Tide.
Right now, though, the believers in Ireland need our prayers, our encouragement, and our solidarity. This is part of an all-out war on the gospel.

Big money bought the vote. We see it here in the US with extortion, bribery and intimidation on really bad legislation. It also doesn’t help that Ireland is influenced by England, the poster child of UN Agenda 21.
