Over the course of the past week, there has been a seemingly coordinated series of women emerging to make allegations of sexual assault or harassment at the hands of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at some point within the past several decades.

But there are at least two former nude models who spent quite a bit of time with Trump during their heyday in the 1990s who are now disputing the media narrative of Trump being a sexist pig who manhandles and harasses women.

According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, 53-year-old Shane and Sia Barbi, better known as the Barbi Twins of Playboy centerfold and cover model fame, first met Trump in 1993. They attended many parties and events with him over the years, and said he always acted as “a perfect gentleman” toward themselves and other women, some of whom were “falling all over him

In a recent email conversation between the Daily Mail and the twins, Shane wrote, “It is frightening the way the media can ruin someone’s image with accusations like the ones leveled against Trump.”

“While I never want to dismiss a woman’s claim of sexual abuse, in our personal experience we saw no indication that Donald Trump would do anything like that,” she wrote. “On the contrary, he was a perfect gentleman to us, and to all of those other beautiful women that were all over him.”

Lest anybody dismiss these women as full-fledged supporters and potential voters of Trump, it should be clear that they have placed their support behind the candidacy of the Green Party’s Jill Stein after their home-state of Florida’s Sen. Marco Rubio dropped out of the GOP race.

They are backing Stein largely due to their activism with animal rights and environmentalism. “My first choice for president was ‘Little Marco,’ someone Trump made fun of,” wrote Shane. “And now we are voting for Jill Stein of the Green Party. So we have nothing invested in saying this.”

As for the lewd comments of Trump a decade ago that were recently leaked to the public, she stated, “Trump had a trashy mouth on ‘Access Hollywood’ and ‘Howard Stern,’ but we saw him in so many situations with tons of gorgeous women where he was a total gentleman.”

The sisters proceeded to relate several instances where they accompanied Trump to major events or parties and recalled that he was always exceptionally polite and “pure business,” “very, very professional” throughout it all.

The former centerfold models also made it quite clear that they would not be supporting Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton, citing her treatment of former President Bill Clinton’s accusers, her laughing about getting charges dismissed when she represented a man accused of raping and beating a 12-year-old, and of course her lies about the 2012 Benghazi terror attack.

As to the slew of allegations made against Trump over the past week, Shane wrote that they are little more than a political “side show” designed “to avoid the real issues that are troubling our nation,” such as foreign policy.

These women, probably more than most, have first-hand knowledge of how Donald Trump behaved toward beautiful women in the 1990s as an ultra-rich playboy. The fact that they maintain he always acted professionally even as some women threw themselves at him should provide a counter to the recent accusations of him behaving in an entirely different manner.
