Elephants & Donkeys

Our political party mascots have some validity I am finally beginning to recognize.

Donkeys are stubborn and they persist in their stubbornness. They require 100% supervision. They are disruptive, resist direction and require beatings. Donkeys are built to carry heavy loads and can navigate difficult paths. They are sure-footed, but willful. If you can get them loaded up and force them to stay on task they will do the job.  Handling donkeys is always a pain in the ass and requires resolve, patience and persistence.

Horses are smarter and easier to handle.  They tend to recognize what their handler needs and they seem to have an emotional connection to humans.  Donkeys are dense, sullen, ill-tempered and incapable of a human relationship. Democrats are like donkeys.

Elephants they say “never forget”. I am a Republican and I never forget the bad laws and damaging decisions Democrats have made in their quest to destroy the US economy and our personal freedom.  I want vengeance. I want to reverse every single bad law and damaging decision Democrats have made. Then I want to prosecute and jail Democrats for treason.

Elephants are larger than donkeys and can carry heavier loads. Elephants are smart, trainable and can be entertaining.
