Returning Pharma Manufacturing to US

The problem we are having in the US is the lack of testing to find carriers who are not exhibiting symptoms. The Coronavid-19 Test needs to become fast, painless, easy and widely available. Those who Test Positive for Coronavid-19 will be able to receive Treatment and know to isolate themselves.

Those with Flu symptoms are the most likely to seek testing.  Those who test negative for Coronavid-19 will assume they have the Regular Flu and seek treatment for that. Treatment can include anti-biotics and steroids to mitigate serious symptoms.

All Patients are different. Some with Coronavid-19 may not have serious symptoms or no symptoms. Some with the Regular Flu may have serious symptoms. Those with robust resistance may have mild or no symptoms, but may be carriers.  All Medicine is “trial and error”.

Pharmaceuticals sold in the US need to be reviewed to ensure strategic domestic medical supplies including anti-biotics, flu medications and other medical supplies and devices.

The US needs to review all other imports and determine some as “strategic” as it did with steel and aluminum. US Pharma companies need to build manufacturing plants in the US immediately. This should include the restoration of mining, processing and manufacture of all chemicals and ingredients needed to produce these pharmaceuticals.

Beyond pharmaceuticals, the US needs to determine other import limits to ensure control by US Food and Drug laws. The US should produce and process the food it consumes including meat, fish, fruit, nuts, vegetables and grains.

The US should also restore US manufacturing of all other goods consumed in the US including chemicals, electronics, software, tools, home appliances, furniture, automobiles and auto part supply chains.
