Multiculturalism

Where did they get the idea that multiculturalism could be applied by force and stealth and be accepted?  World history is full of examples where mixing various factions in populations were disasters that had to be fixed.

In India, in the 1930s, Muslims and Hindus were engaged in a civil war.  To fix this, India carved off Pakistan and moved their Muslims there in 1947. It began with Muslims refusing to get along with Hindus. Imagine that!

There are cities in the world that became multicultural organically without government force. They were long established trade centers.

Our current multicultural folly began in the 1960s. Muslim immigration to European countries restarted after 1970 with guest-worker programs.

The UN began to require multiculturalism to reinforce its Agenda 21 notion that the global population would be reduced from 7 billion to 500 million and would be packed in “megacities” and transit villages with no cars, no single family housing and no private property ownership rights.

The Arab Spring was engineered to break down borders in the Middle East and create chaos to establish the Muslim caliphate and reestablish a new Ottoman Empire. It was planned to be the Arabian Region of the UN global government.  Again liberals forgot their history about how the Ottoman Empire fell apart on its own when Turkey pulled out.

The only multicultural centers that survive are those who grew up freely and organically.  We should leave these alone and recognize that the voters in each country need to be free to make their own economic and cultural decisions.

In Germany, the big cities are full of professionals who speak German and English and many speak several other languages. In the German countryside, they are farmers and business owners and workers whose customers are other Germans and they don’t speak English.

Like in the US, the European leaders lived in the big cities and got blind-sighted to the rural areas. The Australians started it by repealing their carbon tax, followed by the Brexit vote in the UK and the Trump win in the US.

Believing that the US is the ideal venue for multiculturalism is a lie. Our immigration has been largely limited to accepting capable European Christians since the 1600s. We encouraged new immigrants to live with family members in ethnic sections of large cities until they could support themselves. By the next generation, most of these groups inter-married.

We insisted that new immigrants would not become a burden. The plaque on the Statue of Liberty that reads: “Bring me your poor…” was a lie.

We never promoted the notion that immigrants should keep their ethnic cultures, we wanted them to assimilate so they could succeed.  We do allow this with the Amish and admire their industriousness.  We should encourage American Indians to leave the reservations and join the rest of us.
