Both
Russia and China ignored all the nonsense perpetrated by the UN while Europe
was gobbling it up. Now Europe needs to
do a self-examination to assess the damage done by all the UN scams they
embraced over the past decades.
Russia is
basically a European country, but is not in the EU. It is in the G-20 and WTO and is tainted by
some of the goofy ideas that come from these groups. Russia and China will certainly have
bi-lateral trade agreement and these should prove to be the best way to grow.
Russia
should be able to annex adjoining property occupied by ethnic Russians where
the citizens’ vote on annexation like they did in the 80% vote in Crimea, but
Russia will need to be careful to avoid being seen as a predator.
Russia is
the largest country on the planet and needs to expand its private economy to
send the message to their citizens that they can expand their economy and their
prosperity if they increase their productivity.
I expect that the US can help the Russians make this happen.
Russia is
a Christian country, but it has Muslim states and they have Muslim trading
partners, so life is tricky for them. They have had Muslim uprisings, but dealt
with them firmly to settle them down. I
expect the US can learn a thing or two about this from the Russians.
Russia
needs the rule of law and a track record of protecting private property rights.
They need to clean up local government corruption and concentrate on improving
the economic well-being of Russian citizens.
