Trump says Dream Big

We have a crisis to overcome.

Trump told attendees of the Thank You Tour in North Carolina that Americans could achieve anything they wanted. 

It reminded me that in 1941, America united behind the war effort and increased war production to enable us to win World War II in 1945.

When Hitler started World War II in 1939, the US had very little military equipment.  Most of our federal dollars went to domestic programs to mitigate the Great Recession of the 1930s. We did have men like Eisenhower and Patton planning armored divisions.

In 1939, the US began to produce armaments to supply the British. By the time the US entered the war in 1941, we had even more production.  After that, the US went all out and put everybody to work on defense production. This rally of American spirit was the last time we saw the need until now. 

Our current crisis is economic and we appear to be motivated to strengthen our economy with the same spirit we had in 1941. Once again, we are fighting for our survival, our economic survival.
