Reducing federal
spending will require a combination of privatizing industries like Fannie Mae,
Freddie Mac and the US Postal Service, returning unconstitutional functions to
the States like Education, Labor, EPA, HUD, Federal Lands and Transportation, capital
investments to automate and modernize government systems and returning
Healthcare to the private sector. Government employee pension plans need to be
terminated and balances transferred to 401k Plans, so that employees can direct
the investment of their retirement funds.
The federal government
also needs to eliminate subsidies, and grants. This includes Grants to States
that include education, transportation non-profits and all other giveaways.
Healthcare and
Education need to be returned to the private sector so that consumers can
control the prices. This could take several years of 10% reductions in
government subsidies to these industries to give these industries a chance to
transition to become less costly.
Eliminating all
welfare and public school rights to all immigrants will save $384 billion a
year and should be done immediately to reverse the importation of poverty to
the US. All immigrants need to be self-supporting.
All government
surpluses need to be used to pay down debt, so that government at all levels
eliminates their need to borrow. The federal government needs to pay down its
debt from $21 trillion to $5 trillion. Then it can use surpluses to pay out
remaining Social Security recipients and transform social security from a Ponzi
scheme to individually owned and directed retirement accounts.
States need to reduce
their subsidies to education and healthcare and Health and Human Services
transferred to the States. States also need to stop selling Bonds to save in
interest expense.
