US Big City Problems

The largest metro areas in the US have lots of things in common.  Most have Democrat Mayors and Liberal City Councils and local governments. They also have large populations of welfare migrants working minimum wage jobs that were designed for teenagers. This gives them large groups of uninformed voters who elect socialists and crooks.

These metro areas are all regional transportation hubs with international airports, rail freight and highway systems. They all have a crumbling inner-city and wealthier suburbs. Housing and taxes are higher and living there is expensive. Most of these cities have peaked and are shrinking. They all have massive drug gangs and liberal city councils that keep their crime rates high.

Liberals support public transit that only works where the population density is very high and commuter trains are well utilized like Manhattan NY. Public transit should be privatized without tax subsidies or special treatment.

The offshoring of manufacturing jobs from rural cities has decimated rural counties for decades and these rural areas need to be restored with manufacturing jobs.

If this restoration is achieved, it will allow Big City dwellers a chance to move to a rural city to work and live.  In 1975, we moved from St. Louis Missouri to Salina Kansas, a great rural city with a 40,000 population and 40 manufacturing plants with grain and trucking companies. It was a perfect place to raise 6 kids.

Big Cities need to be depopulated to reduce high density gridlock, corruption and crime and the restoration of rural cities is the best answer.
