The United States spent over $2.3 trillion on the war in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2022. This cost includes operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and is part of the larger $8 trillion spent by the US on post-9/11 wars. The United States has spent an estimated $5.4 trillion on the war on terror from 2001 to 2020, but the total cost is likely much highe. 

War has become unaffordable. Trump will replace war with total economic isolation of advisories like Iran, China Russia, N Korea and others.
