Church and Faith

My faith is based on my belief that our universe is a miracle that can best be answered by the existence of a Creator. Nature is so complex, it’s illogical to assume the universe created itself without a Creator. Most scientists who spend their time studying the universe agree.

Civilizations of humans who developed their concept of a Creator have based their religions on things that aren’t logical. They chose the elements of nature, like the sun and elements of human nature, like gods of war, lust, food and drink. Pantheists worshiped nature. All claimed that they are destined to exist after death in Valhalla, Heaven or in nature. Some embraced reincarnation.

My faith is based on my belief that the Jews got it right. Their faith and prophecies developed to culminate in a story of redemption that is bizarre, but more possible than other theories. I believe I was put on earth to do God’s Will.  My life belongs to God and my decisions and choices reflect what I believe God wants me to do.  My sense of purpose is embedded in human nature. My faith is strengthened by my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It requires being “mindful” of Jesus all day, every day.

I am grateful for my Catholic upbringing, but I recognize the difficulties the Christian Church has encountered. The Church was persecuted from 33 AD to 312 AD. The persecutions ended after 312 AD, but has been vulnerable to corruption, error and powerful outside influences since 312 AD and thereafter including today. The Christian Church has weathered 1707 years from 312 AD to 2019 AD.

The Church has been sabotaged by Global Communism’s attempts to corrupt it and replace it with the secular “values” imposed by the Socialist State using political correctness and cult tactics to replace God with the State.

The members of our Christian Churches are divided between the “secular values” espoused by the Socialists and Globalists and the “biblical values” espoused by the Conservatives and Constitutionalists as informed by actual events like the collapse of Venezuela.

Christians fell into the trap of becoming “feed the poor” socialists, who didn’t see that charity was a person to person responsibility, not a government responsibility. Christian leaders are liberals who embrace socialist myths.

Conservative parishioners are leaving these churches.
