Entrapment

General Flynn was prosecuted for giving answers to questions by the FBI that were not consistent with the evidence the FBI already had.  He failed to be cautious to avoid entrapment.

Lorie Laughlin was prosecuted for bribing a State university to admit her daughters.  She should have made a deal with Yale Drama School to admit her daughters in exchange for a large, legal donation and taken a tax write-off.

In the US, the working poor are fined $1000 for being late paying their auto insurance premiums. They should drive old, cheap used cars and only cover the cheapest liability policy they can fine as required by law. They also pay higher interest rates on loans.
