Voters continue to elect Socialists who promise free
stuff. Socialism includes nationalizing industries and seizing private
property. It always fails, because it discourages investment and invites
corruption and tyranny.
Government needs to protect private property rights
and support private sector expansion so that citizens can be free to work and
become self-supporting. This requires government to be limited and inexpensive.
The Roman Empire imploded in 476AD because it
overspent and ran out of money. The USSR did the same in 1989. Zimbabwe did the
same in 2008. Venezuela did the same in 2017.
Jesus was
not a socialist. Charity is voluntary. Confiscation is socialism. See video.
