The Enemies Within

“There is no nation on earth powerful enough to accomplish our overthrow. Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter; from the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence…” ~Daniel Webster

Our Founding Fathers created the U.S. government as a Constitutional Republic for a reason. They knew the difference between republican and democratic forms of government. By basing our government on a representative government ruled by the Constitution; the unalienable rights of individuals were recognized.

A pure democracy is a society where the will of the majority regulates or in other words, the mob rules, and the end results in demagogism, agitation, discontent and anarchy. James Madison was only one of the founders who warned about democracies, “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

While most Americans think the U.S. is a democracy, instead of the mob rule our founders warned about, we are seeing something just as insidious. We are under minority rule by a few elites who are driving the passions of social agitation which in turn drives our nation to the same destructive end our Founders warned so vehemently about.

One man who has been at the forefront of the fight to expose the ideologies in our government is New Zealand native, libertarian-leaning activist and political researcher Trevor Loudon. Recently I had the opportunity to talk to him about his current work and the production of the movie, “The Enemies Within”, an explosive documentary exposing the Communists, Socialists, and Progressives within the U.S. Congress.

I asked Trevor who could benefit most from the information in the movie. While conservative interest will be high, he added, “We also want to reach the grass roots Democrats who still think they’re voting for Harry Truman and JFK.”  Loudon says,

“They do not realize that Marxists have taken over the Democratic Party in the last 15 years and that their party is now essentially a Marxist/Communist party. There is no appreciable difference between the Communist Party platform now or the Democratic Socialists of America and the Democratic Party.”

When asked if Bernie Sanders coming out as a Socialist running in the Democratic Presidential primary would maybe change how some lifelong Democrats saw their party, Trevor disputed the argument that that Sanders is honest about being a socialist.

“Bernie is not a socialist. He is a hard core, anti-American, pro-totalitarian leaning Communist… He’s been backed by the Communist Party USA his entire career, he’s worked with the Democratic Socialist of America his entire career, which is a Gramscian Communist organization. Even now, he has support by a Washington DC insider by the name of Kurt Stand, who recently finished a 17 year prison sentence for spying for East Germany and the Soviet Union… Bernie Sanders is a Marxist through and through. So look, Bernie Sanders is far from honest. That’s a point I think a lot of Americans need to absorb.”

Coming to America from a soft socialist country such as Canada, and having met people who came from hard communism in countries such as Soviet Poland, we are all seeing what so many people had fled from, happening now in the U.S. I told him bluntly that this is frightening to me. “It should.” He answered. “I talk to a lot of Canadians, Europeans who come to America to get away from soft or hard socialism, and I hear, ‘Why the hell is it happening here?’”

Something Ronald Reagan said echoed in my mind–something about the last best hope of man on earth, but also, “We as Americans have the capacity now, as we’ve had in the past, to do whatever needs to be done to preserve this last and greatest bastion of freedom.”

Trevor responded, “It’s about survival of your country, you know? Like if America goes down, New Zealand won’t last long, Canada’s not going to last long… I think a lot of the reasons why a lot of the so called soft socialists like Canada and Europe are actually semi sustainable is that they can trade with the United States and the US helps out with their defense costs and that sort of thing… If there was no US, then soft socialists like Canada would just collapse. Same with Norway and Sweden, and all these countries that Bernie Sanders thinks are so wonderful.”

That was a good point, one that I hadn’t considered, but I mentioned that many Canadians I know have always believed Americans to be somewhat arrogant, but they don’t realize that the US has been acting like a buffer… “Like the boy with his finger in the dike, keeping the dam from collapsing.”

“Well that’s exactly right,” Trevor explained. “They couldn’t afford their soft socialism without the American economy propping them up and defending them. Think of all this pressure to disarm. The push to reestablish the old Soviet Empire, China is threatening Japan; Iran is obviously threatening the whole Middle East. If America continues to retreat, where do you run to? China is already knocking on the door threatening Australia and New Zealand. Go to Latin America, which is all core Marxism now. Go to Africa, which is almost all Chinese controlled. There isn’t much left to run to.”

Our conversation turned more to the movie production of The Enemies Within. The production is based in Iowa, by the same producers who made last year’s expose UnFair about the IRS scandals. They have filmed in Chicago and around the Washington DC areas, and more is being done in Pennsylvania and California.

The movie is exactly what the title implies. According to Trevor, “It’s going to be an expose of how 20,000 Marxists in this country took over the Unions such as the AFL-CIO in the 90’s, which in turn took over the Democratic Party to dictate it’s policies which rule the lives of 320 million Americans. And most Americans have no concept of what’s happening.”

When asked about the idea of our Founders protecting us from majority rule, now seemingly turned on its head to minority, Trevor answered, “Look it’s completely… this is the tiniest little tail wagging the biggest dog you’ve ever seen.” He continued, “What the movie will do is follow the Marxist roots of Obamacare, the Marxist roots of immigration amnesty, one of the completely Marxist programs in America; for a one party state.”

Being a legal immigrant myself, this concerns me a lot, so I asked him to go into a little more detail. “We know the entire reason for it is to swell the Democrat voting base, to the point that Republicans can’t ever win another election. That’s the whole goal. I even quote Eliseo Medina, at the America’s Future Now Conference speaking about getting 8 million new votes, ‘Going to make us a government majority.’ And that’s what’s going to happen…

Mitt Romney lost by 2 and a half million votes. If you get 8 million new democratic votes, or 10, or 12 or 20 million, because they’re not going to close the borders if they get re-elected, they will keep bringing more people in until they have a government majority forever. And then you will never have another conservative President, or hardly any conservative Senators left in the country. It will be a one party state controlled by the unions by the Democrats and ultimately by the Marxists… by the Communists.”

I remarked, “You have a lot on your shoulders with this movie. I hope it opens people’s eyes.”  He responded, “Well it’s going to be hard hitting.  We’re not going to pull any punches. We know we’re going to get some flack. That’s fine; America is making its last stand now. If we don’t win in 2016, that’s really over for the American dream, the American economy and everything else. If America goes down, who will defend freedom from that point?”

“The whole message really is that the whole country has been betrayed from within,” Loudon said.  “The Democrat Party has been sold out to unions, and the unions have been sold out… Twenty five years ago it was the unions who were militantly opposed to illegal immigration. They hated them. It cost them jobs, lowered wages and working conditions… and because in those days the unions were controlled by people who actually cared about their membership. Now they’re controlled by Marxists. You hear about revolution and a one party state. They’re unions selling their own members down the river…”

I asked him if he could give more of a hint on some of the people he exposes in the movie. “If you look at say, Andre Carson, you know on the Intelligence Committee, here’s a man with known Muslim Brotherhood ties and Marxist ties. There are really few surprises out there like Tammy Baldwin, the Senator from Wisconsin. She’s a longtime supporter of a Columbian support network which supports Columbia’s Marxist/Leninist Guerillas and she has used her position and your congress on several occasions to try and get U.S. Military aid cut off to the Columbian Military to basically benefit the Marxist/Leninist Guerillas. Judy Chu from California, long time links with Communist Worker’s Party, pro-Chinese Maoist outfit. She served on Obama’s re-election committee.”

I wondered aloud as to how many people know and approve of who they’re voting for, or if they’re ignorant of it all. Trevor answered, “I think there’s some degree of… If you really look at the democratic voting base, there’s probably about 10 percent that is hard core leftists. You say maybe 30-40 percent soft socialists, social Democratic, but a good 40 percent of the voting base is probably relatively conservative. And they would have no idea of the Marxist agenda…”

“Look at Texas,” he added.  “A red state, you have democratic reps. with ties to the Communist Party. In San Antonio, Austin and Dallas; I guarantee those Texas democrats have not the faintest inkling of that. And even out in California, which is soaked in Marxist reps., the voters would have no idea of affiliation of the people they’re voting for. If they did know, granted, it may not make a difference in many instances.”

Hopefully this movie will help reach them, I suggested. “At least the people have the right to make the right decision, knowing the truth,” he said.  “If they know their reps. hang around the Communist Party and works for the Communist Party in general, and they still vote for them, then it’s their choice. But when they think they’re voting for a Democrat and they have in their minds that this is Harry Truman’s or JFK’s party, they are sadly mistaken. I think the American voters have at least a right to know the affiliation and allegiance of those they vote for.”

I asked how long they had been working on the movie. “The movie we’ve been working on for about a year and a half,” he answered, “but the research behind it has been at least five years before that. I go around libraries all over the U.S. and archives. I delve through the papers and… that’s where I get my stuff from. Marxists, when they get old, their only immortality is to leave their papers and a record of their lives at the local library. And that’s full of, you know, minutes of meetings, membership lists and letter heads etcetera. Some of it is very damning. They just think in 100 years’ time somebody’s coming along and writing a guide to their revolutionary life. But if you go along and research the stuff, you’ll find all sorts of connections between the Marxist groups and the local Congressmen and women. You see some of them are members, like Jan Schakowsky of Illinois who are card-carrying members of Democratic Socialists of America, a Gramscian Communist organization…

So the information is there if you dig for it. But most Americans have no clue about it because most American journalists are Marxist themselves or so scared of being branded as McCarthyites, they never dare to look at the stuff.”

This was an eye opening conversation, even with some of the things I’ve researched myself. I appreciated the passion and obvious knowledge Trevor Loudon has on this incredibly destructive issue.

While The Enemies Within is 70 percent done, they are still working on the final project which includes more interviews and putting it all together. It’s difficult to raise funds for a project that goes against everything the establishment wants kept quiet. Our readers and friends can help. The sooner they can raise the needed funds, the sooner we can watch and share this movie, and hopefully help to expose the enemy within and save our country.
