Climate Scam

Climate scam: Golden key to bring down capitalism, Exclusive:  by Brian Sussman exposes scheme to 'save the planet' from free enterprise, 12/13/15

On Saturday, President Barack Obama hailed the acceptance of a final draft of an ambitious, global climate-change agreement in Paris, calling it the “best chance” to save the planet.

“We came together around a strong agreement the world needed,” said Obama, speaking from the White House. “We met the moment,” he added. “This agreement represents the best chance we have to save the one planet that we’ve got.”

Save the planet from what, you ask?  Capitalism – an economic model the left loathes. Allow me to prove my point. In “Eco-Tyranny” (and to a lesser extent in my first book, “Climategate”), I carefully build a case illustrating how Karl Marx’s disciples sought to use the environment as the golden key to bring down capitalism. One such follower and friend of Marx was Edwin Ray Lankester, a zoologist at the University of London. In a screed titled, “Nature and Man,” he describes humans as the “insurgent sons of nature.”

In other words, Lankester believed humans are the earth’s invasive species. Lankester’s star pupil was Arthur Tansley. A devout socialist, Tansley was deeply concerned “with the destructive human activities of the modern world.”

In an effort to better articulate his position, he coined the term ecosystem. Tansley spouted that ecosystems, large and small, were at risk of being destroyed by the capitalistic activities of mankind. Tansley’s protégé Charles Elton declared the earth’s ecosystems were under threat from “an astonishing rain of death upon so much of the world’s surface,” all generated by greedy human activity.

Communist Vladimir Lenin, an obvious devotee of Marx, was the first leader of a country to craft an official green agenda. In 1918, he issued a lengthy paper titled, “Decree on Land.” In it, he declared that all forests, waters and minerals were to be property of the state. As such, nature reserves were established throughout Russia with millions of acres placed off limits to humans.

Fast-forward to 1972, when the United Nation’s first began to implement its so-called environmental program. In doing so, it brought on Maurice Strong as executive director.  Strong was a Canadian who made a fortune in oil and was a trustee for the Rockefeller Foundation. In a 1976 interview with a Canadian magazine, Macleans, Strong candidly described himself as “a socialist in ideology.” Later that year, he led the U.N.’s World Conference on Human Settlements, where it was declared:
·        “Private land ownership is a principle instrument of accumulating wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice.”
·        “Public ownership of land is justified in favor of the common good, rather than to protect the interest of the already privileged.”
·        To eradicate private property, “fiscal controls [shall be employed, such as] property taxes, tax penalties and tax incentives.”

All of this history, as presented in “Eco-Tyranny,” clearly explains why it was no surprise when at a news conference last week in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of the environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity, but instead to destroy capitalism.

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,” stated Figueres. “This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”

Over the past 150 years, the only economic model that has worked efficiently is capitalism. As Investor’s Business Daily recently pointed out, “The evidence is prima facie: From a feudal order that lasted a thousand years, produced zero growth and kept workdays long and lifespans short, the countries that have embraced free-market capitalism have enjoyed a system in which output has increased 70-fold, work days have been halved and lifespans doubled.”

What went down at the U.N.’s climate conference had nothing to do with science. Rather than go through the list of facts and figures we skeptics and deniers constantly re-issue to defend our position, allow me to simply remind of you of the words of Hal Lewis, professor emeritus and world-renowned physicist from the University of California. Earlier this year, he sent a letter to the American Physics Society, withdrawing his membership from the organization because of its alignment with the radical climate-change crowd. In it, he wrote:

It is of course, the global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried American Physical Society before it like a rogue wave. It is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist. Anyone who has the faintest doubt that this is so should force himself to read the Climate Gate documents, which lay it bare. I don’t believe that any real physicist, nay scientist, can read that stuff without revulsion. I would almost make that revulsion a definition of the word scientist.

The UN has morphed into the Global Communist Party. They want to destroy the US.  It’s time to quit the UN to stop this scam.  If Liberals go nuts, we will know that we are on the right track.  When Trump said “Stop Muslim Immigration”, the Liberals went nuts. Let’s keep it up.
