John Kerry Admits Cutting U.S. Carbon Emissions Wouldn’t do Anything, Posted 12/14/15, by Philip Hodges
John Kerry admitted that even if the
U.S. were to totally revamp its energy system, and every American were careful
to live exactly the way climate alarmists want them to live, it wouldn’t do
anything, because the real problem is the developing world. According to Kerry,
they’re the ones who are responsible for 65% of global emissions.
At the COP-21
climate conference in Paris, he
stated:“… The fact is that even if every American citizen biked to work,
carpooled to school, used only solar panels to power their homes, if we each
planted a dozen trees, if we somehow eliminated all of our domestic greenhouse
gas emissions, guess what – that still wouldn’t be enough to offset the carbon
pollution coming from the rest of the world.
“If all the industrial nations went down to zero emissions –- remember
what I just said, all the industrial emissions went down to zero emissions -–
it wouldn’t be enough, not when more than 65% of the world’s carbon pollution
comes from the developing world.”
He might admit
these things, but it’s not going to change anything here. Politicians in power
are still going to enforce rules that will bankrupt the energy sector, drive up
prices for consumers in the process, and in turn cause more poverty.
