What are the Facts on Jon Ossoff’s work experience upon finishing college? Why do his supporters show doubt about Al Jazeera connection with his company? How real are his latest claims in his TV ad that “I faced ISIS”?

Bottom line, he is co-manager of a British documentary film company, “Insight TWI” founded in 2013. His partner, a BBC radio and television reporter, founded Insight News Television in 1991. His partner’s bio says he has” broad experience of development issues in Africa with a special interest in corruption and anti-corruption strategies.” (note the wording “corruption and anti-corruption strategies” which Jon Ossoff used for his campaign ads).

Insight TWI produces international documentaries and news features for leading broadcasters around the world. Insight TWI's mission is 'to make the important interesting' by telling stories from a local perspective whether through our reporters or the characters in our films.

Insight TWI site reflects 18 documentaries since 2000 (see below), obviously including the majority of which were made under its predecessor, Insight News Television. Since the founding of Insight TWI in 2013, 10 documentaries were made, 9 of which were for Al-Jazeera. Of these ten documentaries, eight were in Africa, one was in El Salvador and one was in Iraq.

It is interesting to note that the only one not made for Al-Jazeera, was the one that Jon Ossoff’s ad on “I faced ISIS” alludes to and this one,” Stacey on the Frontline: Girls, Guns and ISIS”was made for BBC Three in 2016. Beyond sending the reporter and film crew to Iraq to join a group fighting ISIS, did Jon himself actually to there? Never heard him clarify this so I would think it highly doubtful and his “facing ISIS” was wholly by proxy.
