Government Abuse

In the US, government is expected to comply with the US Constitution (as written) and follow the will of the People. But it doesn’t. It is government of the government by the government and for the government.

Stage 1 government abuse is individual government employee abusive behavior in the course of duty and failure of government to maintain critical infrastructure.

Stage 2 government abuse adds not allowing voters to decide on high dollar municipal spending and debt and allowing government funds to be used as subsidies for private companies without voter approval.

Stage 3 government abuse adds allowing government to seize land for economic development projects and seize cash and property from innocent citizens and harass and harm innocent citizens with no-knock warrants.

State 4 government abuse adds allowing government to seize all private property for its own use, kill innocent citizens and jail all decenters, better known as Communism.

Municipal abuses include price gouging with excessive fees and fines for property tax valuations, home inspection, traffic violations, building permits and land use plans. Municipal governments have no sense of priority and are lax in maintaining the critical infrastructure we hired them to do in the first place. This includes crumbling roads, sewer lines and water lines. Land use plans deny homeowners the right to maintain their homes using stream buffer requirements. Citizens who are late in paying their auto insurance bills are fined $1500.

Federal abuse is rooted in their ignoring the US Constitution and the 10th Amendment.  The US federal government has usurped the States and the People and have failed to expand their “enumerated powers” via Amendments that are required to be ratified by the States.  80% of what the federal government does is unconstitutional and these are the very functions that have caused the national debt to reach $20 trillion and unfunded liabilities to reach $124 trillion.

State abuse is rooted in their ignoring the will of the voters and establishing control by self-serving government employees and their cronies. This is done with the expansion of government powers to spend and borrow with no ballot votes via “charters” approved by the State legislature. The advent of “city manager” control of staffs has turned city councils into rubber stamps for staff wishes.
