Wage Increases


This will take time. US wages increased 2.2% in 2017 and 2.7% in 2018. I expect this to increase over 3% in 2019.  These US average wage increases give us a national number to track and evaluate US economic restoration.

The jobs in demand today are tied to pipeline construction and new factories and warehouse centers.  These jobs are out-of-town, but recruiting is underway. There are manufacturing and warehouse jobs wherever they are building new facilities.

Manufacturing companies will respond to real demand by hiring enough employees to fill that demand. New entrants to manufacturing jobs will
