A survey
of 120 Conservative Georgians confirms the obvious. Trump is winning with little or no help from
most Republican politicians.
The first
question on the survey was “Are Republicans Winning?” Most responses were NO.
Comments include: ‘they are cowards and slackers.’
The
second question was “Who is Winning?
Most responses were TRUMP.
The third
question was “Should Republicans campaign for and defend Trump?” Most responses were YES.
The
survey was conducted to confirm the obvious. Most Republican politicians are
not hard at work supporting and defending Trump. So why should grass roots
Conservatives support these politicians except for the fact that they are not
Democrats. I suspect it’s because these Georgia Republicans are happy to
receive Trump’s efforts in their behalf, but are weak on their support of Trump
in return.
Georgia
Conservatives believe Trump will win in 2020, but are not concerned that
Georgia Republicans will win the House back from the Democrats. We hear nothing from our elected Republicans
that convinces us that they aren’t still RINOs, except for Jody Hice.
The
reasons for this silence may have many reasons. They may not want to offend
liberal corporations who want to impose their “values” on the voters. Most of the current crop of elected
Republicans in Georgia are RINOs, who promised free markets, but delivered more
appeasement to hang on to their campaign contributions. Remember these
politicians were trained to not offend any potential campaign contributors.
