Berea College offers
BS degrees in 33 fields of study including Physics, Chemistry, Math, Computer
Science, Applied Biology, Nursing, Business and Education plus all other
traditional academic studies.
Berea College is
located in the City of Berea, in Madison County Kentucky. Founded in 1855 as the first interracial and coeducational
college in the South, Berea charges no tuition and admits only academically
promising students, primarily from Appalachia, who have limited economic
resources.
Berea College provides all students with full-tuition scholarships
and many receive support for room and board as well. Berea College charges no tuition;
every admitted student is provided the equivalent of a four-year, full-tuition
scholarship (currently worth $25,000 per year).
