Europe has PTSD from being devastated in World War I and World War II.  They stopped having kids and stopped going to church. They did rebuild their cities and restored their economies, but they were vulnerable to socialist policies and failed to see the UN for what it is.

The EU scam offered a common currency, leveraged the rail travel made possible by rail expansion during the Wars and allowed cross-immigration to facilitate recruitment. They were formed as a trade association with the goal of increasing trade among member countries. 

When EU member countries gave away their sovereignty and the right to enact their own laws, they made a terrible mistake.  When the EU embraced UN Agenda 21, they committed suicide.  Voters no longer controlled their governments or their laws and the Refugee Resettlement edict by the UN and EU has been a disaster. 

The prospect of a United Europe with member states does have the economies of scale you find in the United States with its member states, but the US didn’t have to deal with multiple languages and cultures and entrenched special interests. It is not likely that the special interests will allow the EU to become the unelected government of Europe.

European voters should be furious with their elected officials for leading them into this disaster. They spent $trillions on the global warming hoax and have been abused by their “open borders” approach. It should be clear that allowing millions of Muslim welfare migrants from Africa and Arabia was a horrible mistake. They don’t know how to behave and should be deported back to their home countries.
