The US Constitution plus all of the Amendments constitutes the rule of law in the US.  Federal departments, agencies and programs that are not authorized need to be either authorized by ratification of Amendments or given to the States and the People.

My Political Conservative View 12/5/23

The US was founded on principles that allowed citizens own land. The American colonists had migrated from Monarchies where the Royals owned the land. Colonists also wanted freedom of religion.  Colonists wanted to choose their legislators and form governments that would allow citizens to prosper. As Colonists they were able to own land, elect representatives and prosper from 1600 to 1765. Colonists formed militias to defend against Indian attacks and fought along side of British soldiers to win the French Indian War in 1765. The British had overspent on wars and wanted Colonists to pay the war debt. Rather than allow the Colonial Governments to negotiate with the British Parliament, the British decided to force Colonists to pay with a series of taxes and became abusive. The British dispatched troops to enforce the taxes. This resulted in abuses that continued from 1765 to 1775. In 1776, the Continental Congress posted the Declaration of Independence and appointed George Washington to lead the Contntental Army.

The Revolutionary War began in 1775 and ended in 1783. The Continental Congress began work on a Constitution in 1783 and completed it in 1787. It was ratified by the States in 1788. They chose George Washington to be the first President of the United States of America in 1789 and he served 2 terms until 1797.

The Founders carefully established a Republic that insured citizen control and warned that citizens would need to protect it to preserve their freedom. The US Constitution was established with Amendments that could be established as Law, but required Ratification by the States.

The US prospered and grew from 1789 and functioned in compliance with the US Constitution.  The Louisiana Purchase in 1802 allowed US expansion to the Mississippi River and the Northern territory to the Pacific Ocean. The Mexican American War in 1858 added the Western territory to expand to its current borders. The Civil War from 1860 to 1865 allowed slavery to be abolished. The Industrial Revolution prompted the inventions we rely on today.

In 2023, we find ourselves in a mess. Our government is abusive. I trace its origins to the Communist Manifesto  published by Karl Marx in 1848 and the establishment of Yellowstone National Park in 1872, without amending the Constitution to allow it by expanding federal powers in Section 8. The Congress passed a law to allow it, the President signed it and the Supreme Court didn’t stop it. Now we have a government that ignores our laws and doesn’t enforce them. The Supreme Court has allowed the Constitution to drift.

My political conservative view is based on US Constitution Originalism.  I support returning the US Constitution to its original meaning and enforcing its rules. This would require that Amendments be filed to allow the US Federal Government to keep the powers it has usurped since 1872. These Amendments should be passed in the House and Senate and sent to the States for ratification.  These Amendments should include legally retaining the power for the Federal Government to own federal lands beyond what it needs to function.

I have not seen any amendment that allows the federal government the right to seize State land and make it a national park or federal land.

The original US Constitution limited federal land ownership to military bases and federal offices, courthouses, warehouses and office space needed to operate. It did not include national parks, federal forests or other properties.

If the Amendment is not ratified, then all federal lands and parks would be owned and maintained as State Parks and Lands by the States.  If the Amendment does not pass, then States would be able to own the land, allow for mining and oil and gas drilling and would be able to sell the land to farmers. tree farmer and rancheers as family businesses. Park Rangers would become State employees.

Campaign Finance Reform

My political world-view supports removing the oligarchs and outside contributions by returning control of government to the US citizen, registered voters they are elected to represent.

States need to change campaign finance laws to ban making campaign contributions to all except Registered Voters and limited to candidates who appear on their ballots.  Candidates would be able to fund their own campaigns and receive campaign contributions from US Citizen Registered Voters to candidates who appear on their ballots. Contributions would be limited to $1000.

Candidates would be required to post their entire vetted resumes, positions on issues and priorities on their websites before they are allowed to file.

This would remove outside money from controlling US elections and base elections on qualifications. positions on issues and improve the quality of candidates.

Negative, slanderous TV ads would be eliminated because campaign contributions would be reduced to modest amounts for websites, travel and meetings with voters. All candidates in each State would be subject to the same rules. All States should be required to have all voting machines tested and counting is closely monitored to ensure that voter fraud is impossible.

I support retaining the original method of allocating votes for President and Vice President and would oppose elections by “popular vote”.

Our current voting laws encourage the election of bad candidates.  We need a cleaner system to attract candidates who are actually qualified.  We also need States to change City and County Charters to remove City Managers and return the authority to spend money to elected Mayors who live in their cities.  We need to repeal all UN Agenda 21 laws that created “regionalism” that allowed for unelected governance.

We need to cut federal grants to States and Non-profits. Most of these funds are wasted and many of these non-profits are harmful, laundering Soros money to Marxist candidates. We need to remove grant money from the federal departments of Education, Energy, Transportation and others. We need to remove federal departments that States can replace, like the EPA and others whose existence violates the 10th Amendment.

We need to return manufacturing to rural cities in rural counties.  US cities are overcrowded and need to let attrition reduce their populations. Big Cities need to eliminate their “development” costs and stop bribing companies to establish businesses in their cities. Small rural counties should continue to be allowed to bribe manufacturing companies to set up plants in or near their rural cities. Family farms need good jobs in town to continue to operate.

Large US companies need to return their engineering and manufacturing operations to the US with high speed, automated manufacturing using Lean manufacturing principles and employee teams to improve processes. The US Trade Deficit rose to over $1 trillion for 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The US needs to produce all that we consume. This includes energy, food, medicine, appliances and electronics

We need to re-shore our manufacturing back to rural cities..

UN AGENDA 21 in one Easy Lesson

AMERICAN POLICY CENTER » AGENDA 21 IN ONE EASY LESSON

Awareness of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development is racing across the nation as citizens in community after community are learning what their city planners are actually up to. As awareness grows, I am receiving more and more calls for tools to help activists fight back. Many complain that elected officials just won’t read detailed reports or watch long videos. “Can you give us something that is quick, and easy to read that we can hand out,” I’m asked.

So here it is. A one page, quick description of Agenda 21 that fits on one page. I’ve also included for the back side of your hand out a list of quotes for the perpetrators of Agenda 21 that should back up my brief descriptions.

A word of caution, use this as a starter kit, but do not allow it to be your only knowledge of this very complex subject. To kill it you have to know the facts. Research, know your details; discover the NGO players in your community; identify who is victimized by the policies and recruit them to your fight; and then kill Agenda 21. That’s how it must be done. The information below is only your first step. Happy hunting.

What is Sustainable Development?

According to its authors, the objective of sustainable development is to integrate economic, social and environmental policies in order to achieve reduced consumption, social equity, and the preservation and restoration of biodiversity. Sustainablists insist that every societal decision be based on environmental impact, focusing on three components; global land use, global education, and global population control and reduction.

Social Equity (Social injustice)

Social justice is described as the right and opportunity of all people “to benefit equally from the resources afforded us by society and the environment.” Redistribution of wealth. Private property is a social injustice since not everyone can build wealth from it. National sovereignty is a social injustice. Universal health care is a social injustice. All part of Agenda 21 policy.

Economic Prosperity

Public Private Partnerships (PPP). Special dealings between government and certain, chosen corporations which get tax breaks, grants and the government’s power of
Eminent Domain to implement sustainable policy. Government-sanctioned monopolies.

Local Sustainable Development policies

Smart Growth, Wildlands Project, Resilient Cities, Regional Visioning Projects, STAR Sustainable Communities, Green jobs, Green Building Codes, “Going Green,” Alternative Energy, Local Visioning, facilitators, regional planning, historic preservation, conservation easements, development rights, sustainable farming, comprehensive planning, growth management, consensus.

Who is behind it?

ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability (formally, International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives). Communities pay ICLEI dues to provide “local” community plans, software, training, etc. Addition groups include American Planning Council, The Renaissance Planning Group, International City/ County Management Group, aided by US Mayors Conference, National Governors Association, National League of Cities, National Association of County Administrators and many more private organizations and official government agencies. Foundation and government grants drive the process.

Where did it originate?

The term Sustainable Development was first introduced to the world in the pages a 1987 report (Our Common Future) produced by the United Nations World Commission on Environmental and Development, authored by Gro Harlem Brundtland, VP of the World Socialist Party. The term was first offered as official UN policy in 1992, in a document called UN Sustainable Development Agenda 21, issued at the UN’s Earth Summit, today referred to simply as Agenda 21.

What gives Agenda 21 Ruling Authority?

More than 178 nations adopted Agenda 21 as official policy during a signing ceremony at the Earth Summit. US president George H.W. Bush signed the document for the US. In signing, each nation pledge to adopt the goals of Agenda 21. In 1995, President Bill Clinton, in compliance with Agenda 21, signed Executive Order #12858 to create the President’s Council on Sustainable Development in order to “harmonize” US environmental policy with UN directives as outlined in Agenda 21. The EO directed all agencies of the Federal Government to work with state and local community governments in a joint effort “reinvent” government using the guidelines outlined in Agenda 21. As a result, with the assistance of groups like ICLEI, Sustainable Development is now emerging as government policy in every town, county and state in the nation.

THE FOLLOWING QUOTES OF THOSE BEHIND AGENDA 21 REVEAL THEIR TRUE INTENTIONS.  LIKE ANYTHING THE LEFT DOES, THEY GIVE AGENDA 21 PLANS  WONDERFUL SOUNDING TITLES WITH THE INTENTION OF  HIDING THEIR REAL INTENTIONS.

Revealing Quotes From the Planners

“Agenda 21 proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented by EVERY person on Earth…it calls for specific changes in the activities of ALL people… Effective execution of Agenda 21 will REQUIRE a profound reorientation of ALL humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced… ” Agenda 21: The Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet (Earthpress, 1993). Emphases – DR

Urgent to implement – but we don’t know what it is!

“The realities of life on our planet dictate that continued economic development as we know it cannot be sustained…Sustainable development, therefore is a program of action for local and global economic reform – a program that has yet to be fully defined.” The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, published by ICLEI, 1996.

“No one fully understands how or even, if, sustainable development can be achieved; however, there is growing consensus that it must be accomplished at the local level if it is ever to be achieved on a global basis.” The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, published by ICLEI, 1996.

Agenda 21 and Private Property

“Land…cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore contributes to social injustice.” From the report from the 1976 UN’s Habitat I Conference.

“Private land use decisions are often driven by strong economic incentives that result in several ecological and aesthetic consequences…The key to overcoming it is through public policy…” Report from the President’s Council on Sustainable Development, page 112.

“Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.” Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the UN’s Earth Summit, 1992.

Reinvention of Government

“We need a new collaborative decision process that leads to better decisions, more rapid change, and more sensible use of human, natural and financial resources in achieving our goals.” Report from the President’s Council on Sustainable Development

“Individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective.” Harvey Ruvin, Vice Chairman, ICLEI. The Wildlands Project

“We must make this place an insecure and inhospitable place for Capitalists and their projects – we must reclaim the roads and plowed lands, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness millions of tens of millions of acres or presently settled land.” Dave Foreman, Earth First.

What is not sustainable?

Ski runs, grazing of livestock, plowing of soil, building fences, industry, single family homes, paves and tarred roads, logging activities, dams and reservoirs, power line construction, and economic systems that fail to set proper value on the environment.” UN’s Biodiversity Assessment Report.

Hide Agenda 21’s UN roots from the people

“Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy- fixated groups and individuals in our society… This segment of our society who fear ‘one-world government’ and a UN invasion of the United States through which our individual freedom would be stripped away would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined ‘the conspiracy’ by undertaking LA21. So we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management or smart growth.” J. Gary Lawrence, advisor to President Clinton’s Council on Sustainable Development.

Comments

Agenda 21 has been updated as Agenda 2030 to transfer our wealth from the US to third world countries.  That will mean the end of US financial strength and US sovereignty.

Google UN Agenda 21 to see the many articles about this plan for a one-world government under the UN.

American Communist Goals 11423

The 45 Communist Goals as read into the Congressional Record in 1963

Current Communist Goals - Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35 - .January 10, 1963

EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Mr. HERLONG:. “Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America. At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen”.

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war. 2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war. 3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength. 4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. 5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites. 6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination. 7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N. 8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N. 9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress. 10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N. 11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.) 12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party. 13. Do away with all loyalty oaths. 14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office. 15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. 16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights. 17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks. 18. Gain control of all student newspapers. 19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack. 20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy making positions. 21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures. 22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.” 23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.” 24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press. 25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. 26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.” 27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.” 28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.” 29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. 30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.” 31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. 32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. 33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus. 34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities. 35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI. 36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions. 37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business. 38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat]. 39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals. 40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. 41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. 42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use “united force“ to solve economic, political or social problems. 43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government. 44. Internationalize the Panama Canal. 45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court

I read the first publication of these goals when I was 10 years old. They were published in a book by the American Communist Party dated 1920. The Goals above are dated 1963 and have been achieved through infiltration into the US government, US Congress, US Education, US Media and US Multinational Corporations. The goals in bold are currently active in the protests and riots.

Republican Hostages 12/3/23

Conservatives have been taken hostage by Democrats for decades. Democrats always vote as a block. They rationalize this by claiming that voters elected them to support Democrat Party wishes. They practice “machine politics” and enlist unions, government employees and Marxist activist groups to drive their uninformed neighbors to register and show up to vote Democrat. It’s a peer pressure game. They pack election offices with Democrats.  They raise outside money to overwhelm elections with TV ads. They use non-profit groups to launder Soros money. They pay “protestors” to riot.  Black pastors incite anger. Democrats promise “free stuff” to bribe the poor into voting for them. These promises are seldom fulfilled. Democrats control the media, the federal bureaucracy and schools. Democrats are expected to base their 2024 campaign on abortion to try to hang on to women voters and hope they ignore our miserable economy.

Republicans are split. They have Conservatives and RINOs. They do not vote as a block. They have not focused on building “machine politics”. They have blue-collar voters but not union leaders.

RINOs are Republicans in Name Only. They often vote with the Democrats. George HW Bush, George W Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney were RINOs. Trump broke the mold. He promised and delivered on issues Republicans and Voters wanted, but could never deliver. That drove the Democrats and RINOs crazy.

Big spending Democrats and RINOs have held small government Republicans hostage for decades.

The Democrats insist on piling all spending on to Omnibus Bills. They ignore Republican attempts to return to “regular order” where Bills are voted on and passed in separate Bills. If Democrats hold the House or the Senate, they will not vote for separate Bills. Democrats use the “government shutdown” ruse as another weapon. Democrats will blame Republicans for shutdowns when they don’t get everything they want.  I called RINOs “demopublicans” for years. They would campaign as conservatives and vote like Democrats. It was a one-party system. They bragged about being collegial and wasted $trillions. Democrats use the “bandwagon” stunt to convince Republicans that they need to allow Democrats to pass anything they want. It’s a bumbs rush to vote on Bills they had no time to read or face redicule and slander.

When Trump entered office in 2017, Democrats began their attack with fraudulent “Russian collusion” accusations and continued to attack. Trump is their worst nightmare. He posed a existential threat to their plan to “fundamentally transform” the US into a Region under a Communist Global Government outlined in UN Agenda 21. In 2016, Trump won the House, Senate and the Whitehouse. The Democrats promised more healthcare and abortion and took the House in 2018. This limited Trump’s agenda, but he was able to unleash energy production, build a wall, close the southern border, rebuild the military and produce peace and prosperity.

In the 1980s Reagan dodged the horse-trading bullet by growing the economy. Reagan knew that the electronics revolution was underway and Russia was broke. Reagan knew that lowering taxes would increase revenue. He rebuilt the US Military and ended the Soviet Union.

In 2016, Trump knew that they key to US peace and prosperity was energy independence. He also had to rebuild the US Military and build a border wall. With control of the Senate Trump was able to appoint Conservative Judges and have them approved. The Conservative Supreme Court Judges reversed Roe v Wade and returned abortion law rightfully to the States. Trump lowered taxes, removed unnecessary regulations and created the strongest economy ever seen in the US.

In 2020, Democrats elected Biden, the worst President in US history. He resurrected the Climate Change hoax, wasted $trillions on Chinese wind and solar, subsidized and mandated unwanted electric vehicles, restored Iran to fund terrorists. overspent, created inflation, bungled the Afghan withdrawal and  created wars in Ukraine and Israel through weakness,

30% of US voters believe the 2020 election was fraudulent.

Republicans control 22 State Legislatures. Democrats control 17 State Legislatures, 11 State Legislatures are split.

https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+us+states+have+republican+legislatures+in+2023&oq=how+many+us+states+have+republican+legislatures+in+2023&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigAdIBCTI4MzQwajFqN6gCALACAA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

If US voters focus on the economy in 2024, Republicans could regain control of the Whitehouse, Senate and House.

US Household income is down in 2023 and inflation is up. The Trump economy peaked in 2022 and the Biden economy is showing its effect.  Household income is showing the effect of the economy’s weakening. Lower income jobs like Retail and Hospitality remain unstable. Home construction is affected by high mortgage rates. Rents and utility prices are up. Transportation and food costs are up. We are addicted to I-phones and the internet and the price of these flakey toys are up. Advertising dollars have shifted from Newspapers, where we could ignore them to the Internet popups, excessive TV ads and unnecessary telemarketers.

In the 1960s a good household income was $10,000. New homes were $30,000. Mortgage rates were 4%..New Cars were $2000. Regular gasoline was 20 to 30 cents per gallon.

In the 1970s, a good household income was $20,000. New homws were $50,000. Mortgage rates were 6%. New cars were $7000. Regular gasoline was $1.19 per gallon

In the 1980s a good household income was $40,000. New homes were $100,000. Mortgage rates were 13%. New cars were $15,000.  Regular gasoline was $1.00 per gallon.

In the 1990s, a good household income was $80,000. New homes were $300,000. Mortgage rates were 7%. New cars were $20,000. Regular gasoline was $1.30 per gallon.

In the 2000s, a good household income was $100,000. New homes were $400,000. Mortgage rates were 7%. New cars were $25,000. Regular gasoline was $1.48 per gallon.

In the 2020s, a good household income remains at $100,000. New homes are $500,000. Mortgage rates are 8% and new cars are $30,000. Regular Gasoline was $2.17 per gallon in 2020, but rose to $3.22 in 2023 .

In 1960, tuition at St Louis U was $1000 per year. Most of the Professors were Jesuit Priests.

In 2023 tuition at St Louis U was $52.000 per year.

In 2023, Tuition and Fees at Georgia Tech total $12,500.

In 1960, hospital costs were $24 per day.  Private Hospitals were owned by Churches.  Religious Orders of Nuns who worked for free Nurse training, room and board, transportation, healthcare and $50 per month.  In 1962, the Catholic Church held Vatican II and redirected the Nuns to “serve the poor”. They sold their hospitals and the Nuns quit. After that, healthcare costs quadrupled annually.

The Nuns also worked at Teachers in Catholic Grade Schools. When Vatican II hit, they also disappeared. Catholic School costs increased.  The US population of Nuns fell from 200,000 in 1965 to 56000 in 2010.

Tuition at St. Judes Catholic Elementary School in Atlanta is currently $10,000 per year. Tuition at Marist Catholic High School is $22630. Tuition at Christian Brothers High School is up from $500 per year in 1960 to $18470 per year.

US inflation doubled from the 1960s to the 2020s. The US National Debt moved from $286 Billion in 1960 to $33 Trillion in 2023. Government overspending and productivity-wrecking regulations need to be reduced.

US Energy Costs 12123

The price of all commodities including oil, gasoline and natural gas is controlled by supply and demand. Demand normally increases, but when supply is restricted the price per barrel of oil increases. When supply is increased, the price per barrel decreases. From 2008 to 2016, oil prices were high and gasoline was over $3.00 per gallon. From 2016 to 2020, US oil and natural gas production increased and gasoline prices were in the $2.00 per gallon range. In 2021, when Biden stopped production, prices increases to the $3.00 range.  Higher prices ignited inflation.  The cost of fuel increased the cost of transportation and resulted in higher grocery prices. The cost of producing Natural Gas remains under 2 cents per cubic feet, but the cost of nitrogen fertilizer has jumped.

The data below included the US average for Regular Gasoline. The Production and Consumption per barrel of Oil is in million barrels per day.

Individual Google questions

How much oil did the US produce and consume in each year 2008  to 2022.

Comments

Oil prices were in the $93 to $97 per barrel range from 2011 to 2014 and gasoline prices were in the $3.37 to $3.64 range. In 2013, US oil production rose from 2.37mbpd to 7.40mbpd. In 2013 the price per barrel dropped to $48.66.

In 2020 gasoline prices sank to $2.16 per gallon, because of increased US production.

In 2021 and 2022, the price per barrel and gasoline prices rose again from $3.00 to $3.99 per gallon, because of Biden’s war on oil.

If production goes up, prices come down. Oil prices are determined globally based on supply and demand.

The US needs to double its oil production to meet demand. This would return the US to energy independent and allow exports of oil and natural gas to reduce our trade deficit.

US Natural Gas Cost  per BTU 2023

The cost of natural gas was $2.58 per million BTU in August 2023. That is 2.58 cents per BTU.

https://www.eia.gov/dnav/ng/hist/rngwhhdM.htm

Doubling US production of natural gas would cut costs in half. This would lower the cost of nitrogen fertilizer and heating cost.
