Total US Flu Deaths by Population 33020

The most populous States should have a higher number of flu cases, hospitalizations and deaths. This is true of the “regular flu” we see every season with some variation. In the US, Regular Flu A&B Deaths for 2018 totaled about 60 thousand. Flu Deaths from COV19 so far total 3,163 

The US is beginning to look at cases and deaths in more populated States like California, Texas and Florida, anticipating higher deaths in these States.  The US is also looking to send citizens back to work in States with few cases and few deaths.

So far, deaths in the US attributed to Coronavirus19 on 3/26/20 total 1042. This pales in comparison to 59,041 deaths attributed to Regular Flu Influenza A&B in 2018.

As of 3/30/20, globally, Covid19 Cases hit 782,034 and Deaths from Covid19 hit 37,609. We are now approaching 1 million cases and 50,000 deaths.

The 2020 Influenza Olympics is being held in your homes and hospitals.  The winner will have the least deaths per case due to Covid19, but this should also be judged by the least deaths per case due to all the viruses, A&B, Covid19, and other viruses competing in this annual event.  Divide Deaths by Cases to get a %.  Low score wins.  No deaths is a perfect score.
