Antifa Criminal Gangs

The Fascist Roots Behind Today's Justification of Political Violence, By Doug Petrikat, 1/17/20, American Thinker.

A few weeks ago, I met an old friend who is a professor.  We discussed various issues, but when the subject of Antifa came up. I was surprised by what he said.  He stated that the acts of violence committed by Antifa are justifiable because we know what fascists have done and should do anything to prevent that from happening again.  When I mentioned that some of the people being assaulted are ordinary Americans wearing MAGA hats, he merely said maybe Antifa should be more specific about whom they target.

Justifying Antifa’s violent actions is nothing new.  I have heard or read enough similar statements that I was starting to think new members of Antifa and its fan club in academia, the media, and in the Democratic Party, all receive the same flyer instructing them how to respond if anyone criticizes their acts of violence, even when journalists and bystanders are among the victims.

But now someone I personally know and consider a rational, intelligent person was justifying political violence.  It made me think that we have reached the point where apparently normal people believe violence is an acceptable way to resolve internal political differences.  This is a disturbing development.

In a civilized society, freedom of speech and open discussion enable those with different views to learn from each other and consider their own positions from a more critical perspective.  However, where threats, intimidation, ridicule, and political violence are the norm, open discussion is suppressed, and progress is hindered.

Ironically, those who support Antifa, mob violence, and ending freedom of speech, and are intolerant of those with other views, often call themselves progressives, while theirs are regressive thoughts.  They are regressive because this goes back to the days of kings, dictators, street brawls and political chaos, when dissent was not tolerated and anyone could arbitrarily be attacked, imprisoned, or killed.

Antifa began a century ago in 1921 as a front group under the direction of the Soviet Union to incite a Communist revolution in Germany.  In 1923 the Politburo of the Communist Party in Soviet Russia held a meeting to plan an armed insurrection to overthrow the struggling democracy in Germany’s Weimar Republic.  Following the Politburo’s instructions, the German Communist Party formed its armed movement to silence rival political parties through violence and to overthrow the government.  The party named its movement Antifaschistische Aktion.

The party chose the name Antifaschistische Aktion, now known as Antifa, because an Italian Marxist fell out with his nation’s Socialist Party, founded his own party, and took power in 1922.  Although he still held leftist views, nationalized 75% of Italy’s economy, and expanded the state’s social safety net, he believed that a hierarchy should be part of society and ignored the dictates from both the Socialists in his former party and the Communists in Moscow.  For this heresy, his new party was branded as a rogue movement.

His name was Benito Mussolini and he was the founder and leader of the Revolutionary Fascist Party.  This was another socialist party, which French socialists supported but the Soviets condemned. Even before seizing power, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was never very tolerant of other socialist parties; after it seized power, it executed those parties' members.

For the communists, the word “fascist” came to mean renegade socialist and eventually became a derogatory term to be used in attempts to vilify anyone they disapproved of, socialist or not.  However, contrary to what we may have been told, fascism was never a right-wing movement.  The reality was, and still is, that fascism is a socialist political ideology of the left. Antifa was one left-wing movement’s battle against another left-wing movement.

Similarly, the National Socialist German Worker’s Party, usually referred to as Nazis, was also a socialist party of the left.  National Socialist Germany under Hitler provided citizens with subsidized health care, housing, day care, vacations abroad, state jobs, a social safety net, and strong gun control laws.  Factions within the party also advocated nationalizing the economy.

Unlike the fascists, the National Socialists wanted to eliminate social classes and advanced a social experiment to achieve that goal.  Nevertheless, the communists in Germany and the Soviet Union still called them fascists and considered them bitter rivals.  The reality is that the communist, National Socialist, and fascist governments were ideological siblings -- totalitarian, one-party states, which focused on collectivism, and centrally planned economies, where individual rights had to be given up for the collective good.

Considering these facts, any accusations that Trump and his supporters are fascists or Nazis are absurd.  The President is a businessman who favors limited government.  He has also recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, has a Jewish son-in-law, and a daughter who has converted to Judaism.  However, facts do not seem to matter to the delusional.

Members of Antifa claim they oppose fascists, or those that they label as fascists, because they are oppressive and violent, while simultaneously expressing open admiration for Joseph Stalin, one of the greatest mass murderers in history, who took total control of the Soviet Union in 1929 after having his rivals executed or assassinated.

Dr. Norman Naimark, a Stanford University historian of East European Studies, and author of the book Stalin’s Genocides has stated that estimates on the number killed under Stalin run from 15 to 20 million.  Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, a Russian historian, Nobel Prize winner, and author of the book The Gulag Archipelago, argued that the number killed in the Soviet Union was as high as 60 million.  The total number of people communist regimes killed in the 20th century has been estimated to be 120 million.

When a commission from the U.S. met with Stalin to inform him that clergy in the Soviet Union were disappearing, he said the clergy were being exterminated, but that the problem was they had not all been exterminated yet.  After the fall of the Soviet Union, Alexander Yakovlev, a former Politburo member, led a human rights commission that concluded that 200,000 Russian clergy had been executed.

Millions of Christians were executed or worked to death in gulag labor camps.  Millions were also victims if it was suspected that they did not support the state.  Black vans would appear at about 3:00 AM and the secret police would haul people away, never to be seen again, as their families screamed.  Soviet citizens could not leave the country and even needed an internal passport for domestic travel, when permitted.

When the Soviet Union attacked Poland, it sent 1.7 million to the gulags.  When it invaded Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia, 1.2 million disappeared in the Siberian camps.  Some of the victims were worked to death mining for gold in sub-zero temperatures in Siberia while others were sent to camps for immediate execution.  This included women as young as 17 years old.

In the 1930s, over 170,000 ethnic Koreans living in the Soviet Union were deported, which resulted in 40,000 dying from starvation and exposure, due to their race.  Other minorities in the Soviet Union, such as Chechens, Turks, and Romanians, also suffered from deportation and ethnic cleansing.

This is the ideology Antifa embraces, as shown by the hammer and sickle whenever its supporters appear. They also use it to justify assaults against people wearing MAGA hats (people who want less government and support individual rights), allegedly to prevent bad things from happening again.  The irony is truly Orwellian.  The hammer and sickle should always remind us of the Socialist terror, the atrocities, and the 120 million killed in the name of Communism.

Transgender Scam

Billionaires and Big Pharma Are Bankrolling the Transgender-Industrial Complex, by Tyler O’Neil, 1/27/20.

Many Americans are absolutely flabbergasted by the sudden rise of the transgender movement. Immediately after the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in Obergefell v. Hodges (2015), Olympian Bruce Jenner was calling himself "Caitlyn" and activists were preaching a new understanding of gender that rejected age-old wisdom and basic biology. By 2016, Barack Obama was foisting this ideology on broad swaths of American society, as his Justice Department threatened North Carolina for protecting the privacy of women in public restrooms.

Last week, Jennifer Bilek shed some much-needed light on the situation in a tour-de-force article published in First Things. As it turns out, the transgender movement did not come out of nowhere. In fact, this juggernaut has been bankrolled by the heir to a massive medical device fortune and helped along by veterans of notorious liberal billionaire George Soros's Open Society Foundations. Rich LGBT activists allied to turn a state blue and collaborated with the U.N. to foist transgenderism on countries across the world.
Bilek noted that people who identify as LGBT have long been the underdogs in a majority heterosexual culture. Yet the LGBT movement today "looks nothing like that band of persecuted outcasts... Its advocates stand at the top of media, academia, the professions, and, most important, Big Business and Big Philanthropy."

She drew attention to Jon Stryker, grandson of Homer Stryker, the orthopedic surgeon who founded the Stryker Corporation. That corporation sold $13.6 billion in surgical supplies and software in 2018. Jon, the heir to the fortune, is gay. He created the Arcus Foundation to serve the LGBT community. Between 2007 and 2010 alone, Arcus gave more than $58.4 million to pro-LGBT programs and causes. Stryker himself has given more than $30 million to Arcus in that three-year period, through his stock in Stryker Medical Corporation.

Jon's sister Ronda Stryker is married to William Johnston, chairman of the wealth management firm Greenleaf Trust, where Jon Stryker served as a founding board member. Ronda is also the vice-chair of Spelman College, which received a $2 million Arcus grant for a queer studies program. Johnston and his wife have given Spelman $30 million overall, the largest gift from living donors in its 137-year history. Ronda is also a trustee of Kalamazoo College, which received a $23 million Arcus social justice leadership grant in 2012, and a member of the Harvard Medical School Board of Fellows.

Pat Stryker, another sister of Jon's has worked closely with gay megadonor Tim Gill. In 1999, Gill sold his stakes in his computer software company Quark and went to work running the LGBT group the Gill Foundation in Colorado. Along with Pat Stryker and two other wealthy philanthropists, the four launched a strategy to turn Colorado from red to blue. It has enjoyed stunning success. They poured half a billion dollars into small LGBT groups.

Tim Gill's most notorious statement — that he would "punish the wicked," referring to social conservatives like Jack Phillips who refuse to lend their artistic talents to celebrate same-sex weddings — dates to the 2015 GLSEN Respect Awards. He introduced Jon Stryker, saying that he and Jon have "plotted, schemed, hiked, and skied together," while "punishing the wicked and rewarding the good."

In her expose, Bilek drew attention to Stryker's efforts to push transgender ideology — dating long before 2015. The Big Pharma heir donated millions to small and large pro-transgender groups. He sent hundreds of thousands to ILGA, an LGBT organization for equality in Europe and Central Asia, and Transgender Europe, an organization in Europe and Asia that has funded smaller organizations in specific countries.

In 2008, Arcus founded the Arcus Operating Foundation to organize conferences, leadership programs, and research. At one meeting that year in Bellagio, Italy, twenty-nine international leaders committed to global philanthropy to support LGBT issues. Michael O'Flaherty, one of the rapporteurs for the 2006 Yogyakarta Principles on the Application of International Human Rights Law in Relation to Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity, attended the event with Stryker. The Yogyakarta Principles planted the seeds "to bring in and attach gender-identity ideology to our legal structures," Bilek explained.

O'Flaherty has been on the United Nations Human Rights Committee since 2004. United Nations member countries formed the LGBTI Core Group to push LGBT issues at the U.N. Group members include Arcus-funded organizations like Outright Action International and the U.N. Human Rights Commission. Core Group member countries include Albania, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Montenegro, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uruguay, and the European Union, as well as the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Also at the Bellagio meeting, Arcus created MAP, the LGBT Movement Advancement Project, to track advocacy and funding promoting transgender ideology in culture.
Transgender initiatives press into political activism, law, religious liberty, education, civil rights, and many spheres of influence. Bilek listed the Arcus-supported organizations pushing transgender activism: Victory Institute, the Center for American Progress, the ACLU, the Transgender Law CenterTrans Justice Funding Project, OutRight Action InternationalHuman Rights WatchGATE, Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA), The Council for Global Equality, the U.N., Amnesty International, and GLSEN.

"The Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U.S. (SIECUS), in partnership with Advocates for Youth, Answer, GLSEN, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), has initiated a campaign using a rights-based framework to inform approaches in reshaping cultural narratives of sexuality and reproductive health," Bilek added. "Sixty-one additional organizations have signed a letter supporting an overhaul of current curriculums."

In 2013, the Arcus Foundation named as director of its international human rights program "Adrian Coman, a veteran of George Soros’s Open Society Foundations (a driver of transgender ideology that has begun initiatives to normalize transgender children)." Two years later, "Arcus worked closely with and funded NoVo Foundation programs for transgenderism. NoVo was founded by Peter Buffett, son of billionaire Warren Buffett."
These programs push transgender ideology by backing faith organizations, cultural associations, police department training, and educational programs at all levels — grade schools, middle schools, high schools, universities, and medical institutions. Arcus funds guide the American Psychological Association (the leading psychological organization in the U.S.) to develop guidelines enshrining transgender identity and undermining any therapy that might resolve unwanted gender dysphoria.

As Bilek wrote, "Psychologists are 'encouraged' by those monies to modify their understanding of gender, broadening the range of biological reality to include abstract, medical identities."

This web of powerful donors helps explain how the transgender movement seemingly captured the commanding heights of American culture overnight. For instance, while endocrinologists (doctors who specialize in hormone glands) like Dr. Michael Laidlaw have warned that transgender "treatments" like so-called puberty-blockers and opposite-sex hormones actually introduce a disease into the bodies of healthy children, the medical establishment has rushed to embrace these "treatments" as "best practices."

Tragically, the medical establishment arguably benefits from the transgender movement, as transgender ideology creates a demand for expensive hormone "treatments" and surgeries. This may create a perverse cycle entrenching dangerous standards in transgender medicine. While donors like Stryker may have begun this process with the best of intentions, it has arguably become something of an industrial complex, rushing people through experimental "treatments" when they really need therapy to help them accept their biological sex.

While it is good that Americans have become more understanding of LGBT people in recent decades, this rush to embrace transgenderism has been horrifying — and not just to conservatives. Many liberal radical feminists have spoken out against it as well, even in the face of threats to their safety.

Jennifer Bilek deserves immense credit for drawing attention to the muscle of LGBT philanthropy, and conservatives should join with feminists in mustering their charity to counter this dangerous force.

Climate Change is Hokum

Climate change hoax COLLAPSES as new science finds human activity has virtually zero impact on global temperatures, by Mike Adams, 7/12/19.

Natural News) The climate change hoax has collapsed. A devastating series of research papers has just been published, revealing that human activity can account for no more than a .01°C rise in global temperatures, meaning that all the human activity targeted by radical climate change alarmists — combustion engines, airplane flights, diesel tractors — has virtually no measurable impact on the temperature of the planet.

Finnish scientists spearheaded the research, releasing a paper entitled, “No Experimental Evidence for the Significant Anthropogenic Climate Change.”

The paper explains that IPCC analysis of global temperatures suffers from a glaring error — namely, failure to account for “influences of low cloud cover” and how it impacts global temperatures. Natural variations in low cloud cover, which are strongly influenced by cosmic radiation’s ability to penetrate Earth’s atmosphere due to variations in the strength of our planet’s magnetosphere, account for nearly all changes in global temperature, the researchers explain.

As this chart reveals, more cloud cover is inversely related to temperature. In other words, clouds shield the surface of the Earth from the sun, providing shade cover cooling, while a lack of clouds results in more warming: Cloud cover accounts for the real changes in global temperatures.

This is further supported by researchers at Kobe University in Japan who published a nearly simultaneous paper that reveals how changes in our planet’s magnetic field govern the intensity of solar radiation that reaches the lower atmosphere, causing cloud formation that alters global temperatures.

That study, published in Nature, is called, “Intensified East Asian winter monsoon during the last geomagnetic reversal transition.” It states: Records of suborbital-scale climate variation during the last glacial and Holocene periods can be used to elucidate the mechanisms of rapid climate changes… At least one event was associated with a decrease in the strength of the Earth’s magnetic field. Thus, climate records from the MIS 19 interglacial can be used to elucidate the mechanisms of a variety of climate changes, including testing the effect of changes in geomagnetic dipole field strength on climate through galactic cosmic ray (GCR)-induced cloud formation…

In effect, cosmic rays which are normally deflected via the magnetosphere are, in times of weak or changing magnetic fields emanating from Earth itself, able to penetrate further into Earth’s atmosphere, causing the formation of low-level clouds which cover the land in a kind of “umbrella effect” that shades the land from the sun, allowing cooling to take place. But a lack of clouds makes the surface hotter, as would be expected. This natural phenomenon is now documented to be the primary driver of global temperatures and climate, not human activity.

Burn all the oil you want, in other words, and it’s still just a drop in the bucket compared to the power of the sun and other cosmic influences. All the fossil fuel consumption in the world barely contributes anything to actual global temperatures, the researchers confirmed.

As they explain, the IPCC’s climate models are wildly overestimating the influence of carbon dioxide on global temperatures:

…the [IPCC] models fail to derive the influences of low cloud cover fraction on the global temperature. A too small natural component results in a too large portion for the contribution of the greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. That is why J. KAUPPINEN AND P. MALMI IPCC represents the climate sensitivity more than one order of magnitude larger than our sensitivity 0.24°C. Because the anthropogenic portion in the increased CO2 is less than 10%, we have practically no anthropogenic climate change. The low clouds control mainly the global temperature.

The entire “climate change” hoax is a fraud.
The “war on carbon” is derived from sheer stupidity, arrogance and scientific illiteracy. The extreme alarmism of climate change lunatics — best personified by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ insistence that humanity will be destroyed in 12 years if we don’t stop burning fossil fuels — is all based on nothing but fearmongering media propaganda and faked science. (The IPCC and NOAA both routinely fudge temperature data to try to create a warming “trend” where none exists.)

Carbon dioxide, in other words, isn’t the “pollutant” that climate change alarmists have long claimed it to be. CO2 won’t destroy the planet and barely has any effect on global temperatures (the IPCC’s estimate of its effect is, according to Finnish researchers, about one order of magnitude too large, or ten times the actual amount).

In fact, NASA was forced to recently admit that carbon dioxide is re-greening the Earth on a massive scale by supporting the growth of rainforests, trees and grasslands. See these maps showing the increase in green plant life, thanks to rising CO2:

Importantly, reducing our global consumption of fossil fuels will have virtually no impact on global temperatures. The far bigger governor of climate and temperatures is the strength and configuration of Earth’s magnetosphere, which has always been in flux since the formation of the planet billions of years ago. The weaker the magnetosphere, the more cosmic rays penetrate the atmosphere, resulting in the generation of clouds, which shield the planet’s surface from the sun. Thus, a weaker magnetosphere causes global cooling, while a stronger magnetosphere results in global warming, according to this research. This phenomenon is called the “Svensmark Effect.”

As reported by Science Daily: This suggests that the increase in cosmic rays was accompanied by an increase in low-cloud cover, the umbrella effect of the clouds cooled the continent, and Siberian high atmospheric pressure became stronger. Added to other phenomena during the geomagnetic reversal — evidence of an annual average temperature drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius, and an increase in annual temperature ranges from the sediment in Osaka Bay — this new discovery about winter monsoons provides further proof that the climate changes are caused by the cloud umbrella effect.

It’s all a massive, coordinated fraud, and the mainstream media deliberately lies to the public about climate change to push anti-free market schemes that would destroy the U.S. economy while transferring literally trillions of dollars into the pockets of wealthy globalists as part of a “carbon tax” scheme.

Yet carbon isn’t the problem at all. And the “war on carbon” is a stupid, senseless policy created by idiots, given that humans are carbon-based lifeforms, meaning that any “war on carbon” is a war on humanity.

World Oil Sustainability

We have 100 years to develop affordable alternative energy to add to Nuclear. Wind and Solar are still too expensive to deploy and Coal reserves will have their limits. Natural Gas is tied to Oil and is already replacing Coal to produce electricity. Hydro is the least expensive, but we are not jumping on this source. Batteries have improved enough to make some electronic products more portable. Oil production is reported by country in Million Barrels per Day and % of total oil below.

Oil Production by Country 2018 Top 10
Country            MBPD    %
US                    17.94    18%

Oil reserves total 1,571,764 million barrels. Total oil production is running 100.89 million barrels per day.
Known reserves should last 15,717.64 days. That’s 43 years, but I suspect we will discover more oil reserves over the next 43 years to keep the oil flowing.  It is prudent to continue to work on alternative energy technologies that can deliver economic results without sending us back into stone age living standards.

It’s interesting that countries with the largest reserves are not the largest producers. Venezuela, Iraq and Iran are broken due to government corruption.
