US Population by Decade


The US population increases through citizen birthrate and immigration. From the 1920s through the 1950s, the US population increased mainly through citizen birthrates.  From the 1960s through the 1980s, the US population began to experience an increase in Illegal Immigration. From the 1990s through 2020, the US has experienced excessive Welfare Immigration, Illegal Immigration, off-shoring of manufacturing and the disappearance of the middle class.

The US population increased by 150,897,125 from 1960 to 2000 and increased by 178,894,462 from 1960 to 2020.


The US birthrate moved from to 24/1000 in 1950 to 12/1000 in 2019.

US abortions since 1973 total 62 million.

The US National Debt has increased from $5.7 trillion in 2000 to $10.0 trillion in 2008 and $20.0 trillion in 2016 and $23 trillion in 2019.
