GDP by Country 2019

We started to hear about the “global economic slow-down in 2015 and its arrival in 2019 is obvious. Countries with growth in GDP included the US, China, Japan and others, but in Europe and other countries, 2019 GDP is lower than 2018.

In 2019, Debt to GDP hits a record with Malta at 879%, Cyprus 597%, Netherlands 522%, Singapore 453% and France 313%,

The data below lists projected GDP for 228 countries and includes the % of Spending/GDP and their Debt to GDP. In 2018, Japan was the only country with over 200% Debt to GDP.   In 2019 we had 40 countries with Debt to GDP at 100% or over and Japan reduced its Debt to GDP to 74%.

Most countries took advantage of low interest rates to build infrastructure they hope will attract more prosperity, but families need to use the low interest rates to become property owners.

Government taxing, spending and borrowing are at an all-time high and needs to be reduced to give families a break. Half of government spending is wasted on unneeded government expansion, bureaucracy and government abuse.

The data below includes Nominal GDP for 2018 and 2019, % of government spending in 2019 divided by GDP and % Debt divided by GDP in 2019.
