Palestine

The population of Palestine is 5 million. The land area is 2,324 square miles. Gaza land area is 17 square miles.
Labor force was 1.14 million, unemployment 27.5%, below poverty 26%.

Palestine reported a nominal GDP of $10 billion in 2012, with nominal per capita GDP of $1924 in the West Bank and $876 in Gaza.

Main industries were cement, quarrying, textile, soap, olives, wood carving, souvenirs and food processing.

GDP by occupation was Services 65%, Industry 23%, Agriculture 12%.

Exports were $720 million in olives, fruit, vegetables, citrus, flowers and textiles.

Imports were $4.2 billion in food, consumer goods and construction materials

Government Revenue was $2.2 billion. Government Spending was $3.54 billion. Government debt was $4.2 billion. Foreign aid was $2 billion.

Palestinian Refugees separated themselves from Israel and were settled into refugee camps in what is now called Palestine.  The Palestinian refugee issue originated in the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, when five Arab armies invaded the State of Israel just hours after it was established. During the ensuing war, as many as 750,000 Palestinian Arabs fled their homes in Israel due to threats from Muslim terrorists.

Yasser Arafat led to Palestinian Liberation Organization in the 1960s and 1970s and continued to wage war on Israel while advocating for a Palestinian state.

Palestine continues to be a poor, politically unstable failed state that should be absorbed by Israel, Egypt and Jordan. The current Islamic terror group Hezbollah should be eradicated.
