Immigration Bill Ensures Higher US Unemployment

How can this be good for American workers?

Right now, on the Senate floor, debate is raging on the Gang of Eight's amnesty bill.

This bill would legalize millions of illegal aliens before a finger is lifted to prevent more from coming. It will also result in an unprecedented number of immigrants flocking to our country in the next 10 years. By FAIR's thoughtful analysis of the provisions of this bill, over 35 million immigrants will be allowed to come to the United States in just the next 10 years. Over 3 million per year!

With over 7.5% unemployment and over 20 million Americans unemployed or under-employed, can we really afford this bill?

As the president of FAIR, the Federation for American Immigration Reform, I'm hoping you'll join us in the FAIR Fight to learn more about the costs and consequences of uncontrolled mass immigration. FAIR's well-known record of fighting for immigration policies that serve America's interests gives us the clout to make the difference in today's public debate.

Will you stand with FAIR to protect the integrity of our immigration system? Your support is crucial to help us continue this critical fight.

Sincerely, Dan Stein, President

P.S. - Did you know that this bill will cost over 6 trillion dollars during the lifetime of the illegal aliens it grants amnesty to? Join FAIR today to add your voice to the Army of Americans standing for effective border controls.

1.9 million legal immigrants will enter the U.S. this year.  No legal immigrants were admitted throughout the Great Depression.  Since the 1990s, over 1 million legal immigrants were admitted every year.  After 2008, legal immigrants soaked up all of the “available jobs”.  Our real systemic unemployment is 25%. A more honest calculation puts US Unemployment at 14.5%.  Obamacare is killing full-time jobs.   Enough is enough.
