The stated goals of T-SPLOST, to fix our road congestion, so businesses will come here, won’t happen if we squander our $6.14 billion in future tax dollars on this politically contrived boondoggle. Many of these companies stand to receive some of our $6.14 billion if this passes, the rest are uninformed hapless camp-followers. They don’t care that true road congestion mitigation will come only if we choose not to waste our money on this monster. We need to pull the plug on TIA and start over with a smarter, less damaging approach.

We are in a country where our federal government is doing everything it can to increase our electric bills, gasoline costs, food prices and water prices. It has passed laws that increase our health insurance costs. This is the same federal government that gives states $15 billion each to destroy their own city and county elected government models. It is the same federal government who wants to deed our resources and our property over the U.N.

It is the same federal government we need to force to return to compliance with our Constitution and its 10th Amendment. It’s the same federal government who is bribing our State politicians with grants earmarked to do stupid things to bankrupt us.

Norb Leahy, Dunwoody GA Tea Party Leader
