T-SPLOST is both Treasonous and Stupid

T-SPLOST is Treasonous

The Transportation Investment Act of 2010 introduced “REGIONALISM’ throughout Georgia. This Regional Governance is prescribed by U.N. Agenda 21, the plot to funnel large chunks of our money to Marxist bureaucrats in the U.N. appointed functional global governance groups. The U.N. is controlled by corrupt Marxist countries, most of whom are looking forward to taking over our resources and taxing us for everything. Unelected, Regional governance violates “home rule: in our Georgia our Constitution as well as our U.S. Constitutional rights to sovereignty and self-government.

Part of U.N. Agenda 21 is run by ICLEI, the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives. All courses offered for elected and appointed officials in the U.S. comes from ICLEI. These courses instruct attendees how to ignore voters’ rights to pretend to protect the “environment”. “Sustainable Development” implements Agenda 21 at the local level. ICLEI was started to mitigate global warming, which we now know doesn’t exist. So why are we still doing this ? Agenda 21 continues, because it’s goal is global Marxist governance. To achieve this, we must be reduced to poverty. That’s why the Fed is debasing the currency and why the government is overspending over $1 trillion a year. It’s why Obama gave the U.N. our coastlines.
To our detriment, The State of Georgia has used “Regional Transportation Planning’ for years. The GDOT has done an abysmal job for the past 40 years. Now they will hold the purse strings and squander billions on more things that don’t work. Our Republican government has unleashed this treason on unaware voters and are gathering a multi-million dollar advertising war chest to push this through. The GDOT is so bad, the Georgia Legislature has abandoned it.

Up to now, our ELECTED officials in our cities and counties have had the responsibility for roads. Now they are being dictated to by the appointed Georgia REGIONAL SOVIET. This is the same type of appointed regional governance use by the former Soviet Union. Much of the $50 thousand budget for our 12 Development Regions goes to propaganda and control of local elected officials. They will certainly join the cabal to spend hundreds of millions of dollars in ad campaigns and promotional activities supporting the T-SPLOST. In addition, Georgia established 16 Regional Transit Commissions.

Obama’s job is to soften us up with inflation, high unemployment, bad roads and traffic congestion, before he crashed our economy with overspending to implement Agenda 21. Our Republicans’ job is to be as hapless as George H.W. Bush was when he approved Agenda 21 in 1992. The duped companies and “kool aid” drinkers supporting “sustainability”, regionalism and the T-SPLOST are not encouraged to take a hard look at the T-SPLOST or TIA.

T-SPLOST is Stupid

It isn’t just that over half the $6.14 billion we will pay in taxes goes to bail out MARTA and expand underused public transit. This will certainly not relieve our congestion. The project costs quoted in the T-SPLOST final list are WAY over priced.

The T-SPLOST Final List includes a re-do for 3.5 miles of Mt. Vernon Road in Dunwoody with a price tag of $12 million. That’s almost $3.5 million per mile. Milling and resurfacing costs are closer to $200 thousand per mile for a total coat of $700 thousand. The GDOT cost is 5 times more than it ought to be as we enter the 4th year of the Second Great Depression. We can’t afford that right now and should opt for the cheaper job. If we have an economy left, we can do the fancy stuff later. We, in Dunwoody, would be better off doing this ourselves, without GDOT or TIA.

Like the Dunwoody Park Bond vote, we chose to pay as we go rather than go into debt. With the T-SPLOST, we are objecting to a lot more than debt. We are rejecting the acceptance of the Georgia Regional Soviet structure that usurps control by the voters of each city and county to take care of their own infrastructure without donating 80% to other counties.

In past years, the federal government has given grants to the states for earmarks and public transit. That’s over after 2012, if Obama gets fired. MARTA and public transit will need to deal with its own overspending and concentrate on its most profitable routes. MARTA will need to discontinue the routes that loose the most money, like Dunwoody. Private companies will be free to pick up these routes. MARTA is a creature belonging to DeKalb, Fulton and the City of Atlanta and it should not operate in any other counties or collect taxes from them. MARTA, with a $750 million in annual spending, $120 million in annual revenue and $630 million in tax subsidies, will need to either go bankrupt or retrench.

T-SPLOST is a GDOT slush fund and a MARTA bailout and expansion fund. If it passes, MARTA and public transit will creep into the surrounding counties, but will continue to require 83% subsidies. The surrounding counties should vote unanimously to reject the T-SPLOST and save their 1 cent sales tax for their own roads in their own cities and counties.
