This evil plan began much earlier in the 1920s with the
infiltration of Communists into the Ivy League colleges and spread like a
grassfire throughout all private and public U.S. universities, the media and
government.
Each major political “reform” and cultural descent has
had its effect on our on-going educational deterioration. The proliferation of “junk courses and majors”
was astonishing.
The last Plague was “race to the top” and it spawned the
test cheating scandal in a rush for bonus money. Before that was “no child left behind”. Our curriculum gets weaker and our outcomes
become poorer with each treatment of federal sabotage.
The introduction of “values” and social engineering set
the schools off on a wild ride to abandon the development of skills in reading
writing and math. Attaining these skills is the only reason we have schools in
the first place. The original goal was to give students the knowledge and skill
to find answers to their own questions.
Homeschooling has re-proven the fact that all learning is
self-learning and enables students to spend some time on what interests them.
Public education has turned into political indoctrination
with deference to the latest “victim group” or junk science theory.
To disguise the dysfunction, schools have been on a
building binge for 30 years, competing for the fanciest facilities. That is as
stupid and shallow as voting for a candidate because they look good, rather
than knowing how they would vote and how that would affect your economy and
your liberty.
Parents and students can take control and expose students
to potential interests that can result in a self-supporting future, if the
student knows what he or she wants to learn, then make sure whoever they hire
can teach them.
