On the Current Bill voted on 9-30-25:

The “NO” votes included Republican Rand Paul.

The “Yes” votes included Democrats John Fetterman and Catherine Cortez Masto.

JOHN FETTERMAN

This first-term Democratic maverick from Pennsylvania has been firm in his commitment to never vote against legislation keeping the government operating.

"I won’t vote for the chaos of shuttering our government," Fetterman, 56, said in a statement late on Tuesday. "My vote was for our country over my party."

CATHERINE CORTEZ MASTO

Masto, 61, the Senate's first Hispanic American woman, has charted a moderate course since joining the chamber in 2017.

·       Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA): He voted against the bill, though his specific reasoning was not widely reported. He and Massie

·       were the only Republicans to vote no on final passage.

Senate Republicans

Three Republican senators voted against the bill, forcing Vice President JD Vance to cast the tie-breaking vote to pass it on
