Paul sweeps St. Charles “do-over” despite establishment rigging attempt
by Joel McDurmon on Apr 12, 2012 StLToday.com reports,
Supporters of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul took control of St. Charles County’s second-try Republican caucus Tuesday night, winning all of its delegates to later stages of the state GOP’s presidential selection process.
The Paul campaign used superior organization to get its people to the meeting at the St. Charles Convention Center. More than 900 people took part overall.
Brent Stafford, the Paul activist who chaired the caucus, said Paul’s supporters were “inspired by his positions on constitutional government and sound fiscal policy’’ and his consistency on issues over the years.
GOP State Chairman David Cole had scheduled the do-over session after the county GOP’s original caucus March 17 disbanded amid boisterous disputes over rules. Two Paul supporters, including Stafford, were arrested at that event.
The original caucus event was closed against its own rules when establishment GOP leaders attempted to prevent Paul supporters from being heard, and the caucus event itself from being recorded. Here’s one of those insiders caught on hidden camera admitting that they had schemed in advance to block Paul from getting delegates:

Comment:
Bravo, St. Charles. We need to make the federal government comply with the Constitution and 10th Amendment as written and cede its unconstitutional functions to the “States and the People”. Closing most federal agencies and departments would save $1.6 trillion a year and balance the budget. We also could end inflation, bubble recessions, bailouts and government overspending if we end the Fed.
