Ending Government Corruption

Governments should exist for the benefit of their citizens.  They formed originally to prevent invasion to guarantee peace in their homeland allow its citizens to get on with their lives.  Citizens should be entitled to defend themselves as well.  Citizens should be responsible for their own support and should not be restricted from earning a living.

Government functions for States and municipalities should be limited to building and maintaining roads, bridges, water reservoirs, clean water distribution, sanitation, sewers, water treatment plants and garbage disposal.

A “free market private economy” should be allowed to develop.to supply everything else.

Government representatives should work exclusively for the citizens.  Only citizens should be allowed to contribute to candidates on their ballots running for elective office.  Bribery of government representatives and employees should be a crime that removes them from office and government employment for life.

The law should be followed as written.  Judges should decide civil cases themselves after meeting with the parties and reviewing the evidence. Their decision should be subject to appeal and overturned if bias or conflict of interest is found.  Criminal cases should be heard by a jury.

The rule of law should include the right to private property and the right to keep it with minimal cost to the citizen. This includes patents and copy writes.  Government and property owners should retain copies of titles and proof of ownership.
