Each year the US West Coast hosts the Annual Forest Fire Festival followed by the Annual Mud Slide Festival. The East Coast forests are largely owned by individuals and corporations, so they don’t have forest fires. West coast forests are largely owned by the US Federal Government and the Interior Department fails to manage the forests to prevent forest fires.
Fires are reported from January 1 to July 25 for 2019 to

US Forest Land needs to be returned to the States to allow
them to sell forest land and grazing land to individual families and
corporations. The US Congress needs submit the Constitutional Amendment to
retain federal ownership of land and buildings except for military bases and
land used to house federal agencies to the States for ratification to clean up
this unconstitutional infraction that dates back to 1872. States would not
ratify this Amendment.
