The positioning of the Earth in orbit from the Sun allows the Earth to maintain temperatures that are livable. The gravity of Moon allows the earth to maintain its orbit around the Sun. Earth’s position in the solar system allows it to avoid the Asteroid Belt and the collisions that occurred during earth’s formation. Earth’s unique electromagnetic field allows us to deflect solar eruptions and support an oxygen-rich atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is absorbed by plant life that creates and emits oxygen. The temperature of the Earth allows moisture to accumulate in clouds and replenish the Earth with rain needed to grow food, plants and trees. Thunderstorms that produced lightening caused fire. We captured and used fire to provide warmth and light.
The Earth has continual motion of tectonic plates that slowly move continents. The Earth has a molten iron core that creates volcanic eruptions that result in the creation of higher elevations of plateaus and mountains.
The Earth contains many useful elements we have discovered over time. This includes metals like copper, and iron we discovered can be melted, formed and used as tools. We continue to find new useful elements and experiment using trial and error to create other useful things.
