The theory of evolution by natural selection, proposed by Charles Darwin, explains how species change over time through the process of natural selection. It posits that individuals within a population exhibit variation, and those with traits better suited to their environment are more likely to survive and reproduce, passing on their advantageous traits to future generations. Over time, this process leads to the accumulation of beneficial traits within a population, causing it to evolve and potentially diverge into new species.

The Scopes Trial, also known as the
"Monkey Trial," was a highly publicized 1925 trial in Dayton,
Tennessee, where John T. Scopes was charged with violating the Butler Act,
which prohibited the teaching of evolution in public schools. The trial became
a national spectacle, pitting fundamentalist religious beliefs against modern
scientific ideas. While Scopes was convicted and fined, the conviction was
later overturned on a technicality, and the trial ultimately raised broader
questions about the role of science and religion in education.

Science and Religion have a
history of colliding and both camps are known to get it wrong. The sun does not
revolve around the Earth. There are several kinds of “Laws”. Science separates
“Theories” and “Laws” based on proof. Religion defines “Laws” based on
scripture. Governments define “Laws” based on their Constitutions.
US Law is based on Judeo-Christian principles, but allows for Religious Freedom.
The Theory of Evolution is not a “Law”. Students need to know the “Scientific Method” that requires proof.
Albert Einstein's theory of
relativity, comprising special and general relativity, revolutionized our
understanding of space, time, gravity, and the universe. Special
relativity, published in 1905, established that the laws of physics are
the same for all observers in uniform motion and that the speed of light is
constant, regardless of the motion of the light source. General
relativity, published in 1915, extended this to include gravity, describing it
as the curvature of spacetime caused by mass and energy.

Isaac Newton's three laws of
motion are fundamental principles in physics that describe how objects
move. They are: 1) Law of Inertia: An object at rest stays at rest, and an
object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and direction unless acted
upon by an unbalanced force. 2) Law of Acceleration: The acceleration of
an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely
proportional to its mass. This is often expressed as F = ma. 3) Law
of Action and Reaction: For every action, there is an equal and opposite
reaction.

Darwin’s Theory is yet to be proven. It attempts to explain why some species of birds are similar, but different. It does not support the notion that Humans evolved from the sea, became mammals, then monkeys and then Humans.
Extraterrestrial Theory is yet
to be proven. Extraterrestrial refers to anything originating, existing,
or occurring outside Earth or its atmosphere. This includes
potential alien life, objects like
meteorites, and civilizations beyond our solar
system. In essence, it's a broad term encompassing anything not native to
our planet.
