US Government Reform 6-25-25

Returning to the US Constitution: To ratify a constitutional amendment in the United States, three-fourths of the states (38 out of 50) must approve it. This can be done through either the state legislatures or by state. conventionsAs of June 22, 2025, there are 23 states with Republican trifectas. What is a "trifecta"? A state government trifecta means that one political party holds the governorship and majorities in both chambers of the state legislature. It would require 15 states to move to the center for amendments to pass. Our only option is to park the amendment process until Democrats move to the center and rely on Supreme Court opinions.

Rebuilding the US Private Sector Economy: Reshoring manufacturing jobs and unleashing drilling, mining and forestry is our strategy. Removing “federal regulations” is required. Reshoring should lower prices by contracting the supply chain. Reducing our Trade Deficit can be achieved by increasing the exports in oil and natural gas. We need to track “private sector” GDP separate from government spending.

Securing the US Border:  The US Southern Border Wall should be completed soon. All Immigration should be “legal” and based on US hiring needs. Strategies to secure the Northern Border need to be employed. All Visas need to be tracked and “overstays” deported. The use of foreign temp services should be avoided.

Paying down the US National Debt to reduce Interest Costs: The National Debt needs to be reduced by reducing federal spending. The interest on the Debt is $1 trillion per year. Appropriations should not be addressed in 10 year spans. Sending Unconstitutional powers to the States should include reducing Federal Grants. Upgrading Federal Government Systems will be required to achieve the Productivity gains needed to reduce Federal Spending.

Upgrading Government Systems and Methods to increase Productivity: Reducing Costs should include the creation and “real-time” updating of Federal Government Data to allow the accurate counting of US Citizens. Databases should be created for “real time” access to record Births, Deaths, Green Card Holders and Work Visa Holders. This would include Databases from the USPS for home addresses, Drivers Licenses, Social Security Data, Military Service Records. and BLS Data on Occupations and Employment.

Removing waste fraud and abuse in Federal Spending allowed by the Deep State: DOGE Teams should become permanent fixtures assigned to Cabinet Secretaries and Agency Heads to continue to monitor Federal Spending. Prosecutions should include steep fines for violators. All 501C Nonprofit NGOs should be reviewed and reduced. Money Laundering via NGOs should be prosecuted.

Returning the Congress, the Supreme Court and the Executive branches to their original purpose and balance: Shared Databases should allow Congress to monitor spending in “real time”. Congress should make revisions that restrict the jurisdiction of Federal Courts.

Restoring the US Culture to return to Judeo-Christian principles and Original Cultural Norms: Freedom of Religion in the US Constitution allows Citizens to determine their beliefs.

Assimilating US citizens to support US Principles with a common vision:  Education is being transferred to the States, but Congress should give guidance to States to ensure assimilation of students to these principles. Education should prepare students to function as self-supporting adults. We expect K-12 would give them proficiency in reading, writing and math and help students identify what the are good at and enjoy doing.

Ending Crime: Education should include what laws students are required to obey. Parents are responsible for encouraging their children to be law-abiding.

Ending Wars: Education should include the history of wars and the economic conditions that resulted in wars. Replacing Wars with total economic isolation is preferred.

This Reformation will require citizens to work to ensure that families are able to provide for their own needs. It will require lowering Federal annual spending from $7 trillion to $4 trillion. States will need to get ready to fund themselves.

There are lots of moving parts in this collaborative recovery plan and should result in the adoption of “Continual Improvement” in government management. This should impact Congress that will benefit from “real-time” data access on spending. Unproductive systems and methods will be eliminated and replaced by Productive systems and methods.

President Trump is the CEO and Chief Strategist. His Executive Orders reflect National Priorities.

Designated Managers include the Cabinet Secretaries and Agency Directors who are tasked with upgrading government efficiency. They function as a “Lean Team” and collaborate throughout the upgrade process.

DOGE Teams are assigned to Designated Managers as Consultants to identify fraud, waste and abuse and will likely assess and monitor Upgrades in Systems and Methods. This should include shared databases to track spending and improve data accuracy. The upgraded systems and methods will increase productivity and allow spending to retract. This will allow the National Debt to shrink as Private Sector Nominal GDP increases.

The 10% Import Tariffs reflect the higher cost of production in the US. The lower 15% Corporate Tax provides the incentive for foreign manufacturers to add manufacturing plants to the US. Lowering Income Taxes for lower paid US workers will allow them to eventually become homeowners and pay off their mortgages before age 66.

Individual Trade Deals allows US trading partners to prioritize their needs in “real-time” and should result in reducing the US Trade Deficit.

Increasing the supply of oil and natural gas should lower global energy costs. Completing oil and gas pipelines will further reduce the cost of energy.
