US Proposes Ban on uranium processing 6-25-25

Iran is claiming that they want to be able to build a nuclear power plant. The US preposes that Iran buy their processed uranium from countries that provide it.  The US could choose regime change, but wants the citizens of Iran to be free to do that themselves. Israel will likely continue to eliminate Iran’s missile launchers and reduce the Iran’s military capabilities to allow citizens to initiate regime change.

It's not possible to predict with certainty when the citizens of Iran will be able to initiate regime change. The current political situation in Iran is complex, and there are many factors at play.

Some perspectives on this issue include:

·       Weakening of the regime: Some exiled Iranians believe the regime's grip on power is weakening. One factor contributing to this is the ongoing war with Israel, which has weakened Iran's military capabilities and regional proxy groups. Economic difficulties, such as inflation and corruption, are also contributing to instability.

·       Lack of organized opposition: A major obstacle to regime change is the absence of a unified, organized opposition force within Iran that is capable of taking charge. While the regime is suppressing dissenting voices, it is also unclear when Iranians might feel confident enough to stage large-scale protests again.

·       Potential for a "palace coup": Some analysts believe that a more plausible scenario for regime change could be a rupture within the military, perhaps even the Revolutionary Guards, who might act to protect their own interests.

·       External intervention: While external actions like the Israeli strikes may weaken the regime, opinions differ on their effectiveness in instigating regime change and whether they risk strengthening the regime's narrative of being under siege.

Ultimately, the ability of citizens to initiate regime change in Iran will depend on a combination of factors, including the regime's continued weakening, the emergence of a strong and unified opposition, and the willingness of citizens to take action despite the risks involved.

When will the citizens of iran be able to initiate regime change ?

Based on recent reports, there is no specific timeline for when citizens of Iran will be able to initiate regime change

Factors that influence potential regime change in Iran:

·       Opposition Strength and Organization: A unified, organized opposition is needed to effectively challenge the current regime.

·       Regime's Repression: The Iranian regime suppresses dissent and uses violence to stop protests, which makes it difficult for citizens to organize.

·       Government Control: The regime uses fear, surveillance, and economic support to empower those who support it, further hindering organized opposition.

·       International Influence and Support: External pressure and support for the opposition can be impactful. However, they must be considered so as not to strengthen the regime's narrative or create a backlash. The effectiveness of international support is debated.

·       Economic Factors: High inflation and unemployment contribute to discontent with the regime.

·       Social Unrest: Protests, such as the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement, have occurred, but their intensity varies.

·       Potential for Internal Divisions within the Regime: Some analysts believe a split within the military or the Revolutionary Guards could lead to regime change.

Conclusion: The timing of any potential regime change initiated by Iranian citizens is uncertain. It depends on internal and external factors.

If Israel continues to degrade the Military and includes the Revolutionary Guards and the US is able to degrade Iran’s economy, it could give Iran’s citizens a chance to seek support for “regime reform”.  Citizens need to assess where their support is within the current government to “reform”. Protests will result in further suppression of citizens.
