Halt Muslim Immigration Now

Petition Congress to 'halt Muslim immigration now', Moratorium urged until 'dangerously broken' system is fixed.

The United States is fighting a clash of civilizations with a dysfunctional immigration system, which is mocked and exploited by its mortal enemies. In response, today WND has launched a petition demanding that Congress temporarily halt Muslim immigration into the U.S.
Americans promised to “Never Forget” after the 9/11 terror attacks, but for the past seven years President Obama and his allies have tried to persuade the nation that Islamic terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, ISIS is “contained,” and al-Qaida is “on the run.” Meanwhile, ISIS controls large swathes of Iraq and Syria, murders another Christian every five minutes, its supporters have perpetrated deadly attacks inside Europe and on American soil, and al-Qaida remains potent across the Middle East and North Africa.
Although GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump has been attacked relentlessly by much of the media and the political establishment of both parties after suggesting a pause in Muslim immigration, claiming it to be illegal and unconstitutional, the U.S. Supreme Court said in 1977 that “the power to expel or exclude aliens [is] a fundamental sovereign attribute exercised by the government’s political departments largely immune from judicial control.”
In fact, according to federal law, specifically the McCarran-Walter Immigration Act of 1952: “Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens, or of any class of aliens, into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants.” The act has been used several times by presidents to keep out subversive or dangerous groups, such as communists during the Cold War.
The WND petition asserts that whether members of Congress accept Donald Trump’s idea to pause all Muslim immigration, or Sen. Rand Paul’s measure to stop immigration from 34 Islamic nations, or other suggesting a temporary pause in  all immigration, many believe it is time for what CNBC economist Larry Kudlow calls a “wartime lockdown.”

The Constitution, which America’s Founding Fathers bequeathed “to ourselves and our posterity,” “does not extend its rights and benefits to the rest of the world,” says the WND petition. “Americans do NOT want open borders and wanton mass immigration. We want our borders secured – through whatever means is most workable – NOW.”
