US China Relations

The US brought back Steel and Aluminum production to US-based factories in 2019.  Now we are hearing that the US will bring back Pharma, Chemical and Electronics production to US-based factories in 2020.

China will pay a price for their mishandling of the Coronovid19 containment in the October-December 2019 period.  This will likely result in the return of all manufacturing of US consumer goods to be returned to US-based advanced manufacturing facilities.

The US China Trade Agreement is likely to be diminished and exports of food from the US to China will likely fall short of the terms of the agreement.  The US will also likely take other steps to end China’s theft of US intellectual property.

The loss of lower-wage jobs due to the Coronovid19 mitigation actions will likely result in tight restrictions on immigration of low wage workers and imports from low wage countries.
