The US Political Playbook evolves to address immediate needs of US citizens. Now in 2025, US citizens need Jobs to recover from our 25 years of offshoring manufacturing. Our kids need the Education they will need to function as adults and provide their own food, shelter and transportation. We need to reform all Universities to return to all Occupational Degrees and end all foreign influence. Charity begins at home and we need to cut foreign aid and need to stop being Santa Claus for the world. We need to cut fraud, waste and abuse. We need to shrink our National Debt from $37 trillion back to $5 trillion and shrink federal government spending from $7 trillion per year back to $4 trillion. We need to reduce Inflation to 1% per year. We need to replace War with Total Economic Isolation for “bad actors”. We need to end Illegal Immigration and base all Immigration on Merit.
In the 1750s, the British Citizens in the New England Colonies had gotten used to having their own land. They made their own laws and passed their own taxes. They had made their livings by harvesting trees for lumber and crops for sale. They raised livestock for food and focused on getting goods to markets. They used boats and roads to move their goods. They fought along-side of British Soldiers to win the French and Indian War in 1965. They saw no need to keep British Soldiers after the War. They felt that the Taxes imposed by the British Parliament to pay for their occupation by British Soldiers was a sign that the Parliament had violated their right to pass their own taxes and pass their own laws. In 1776, the 13 Colonies published their Declaration of Independence. The Colonies won the Revolutionary War in 1783.
In the 1783, the Founders adopted the Articles of Confederation to establish a governing document for the Federal Government. Colonies became States and continued to function to pass their own laws.
In
1789, the Founders adopted the US Constitution giving the Federal Government
“limited powers”. In 1887, citizens in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey
voted to ratify their Statehood. In 1888, citizens in Georgia, Connecticut,
Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia and New York
voted to ratify their Statehood. In 1789 North Carolina voted to ratify their
Statehood. In 1790, Rhode Island voted to ratify their Statehood.

In 1789 George Washington was elected to be the first President. House and Senate members were elected and the Supreme Court was established. The US government began to function and pay off the Revolutionary War Debt using Tariffs on Imports.
From its beginning as a group of colonies in the 1600s, the US continued to expand West. Most of the settlers were from Europe and came to the US to own land and farm.
In 1800, the United States had a population of 5,308,483 people. In 1802, President Thomas Jefferson purchased the Louisiana Territory from France for $15 million, taking our Western Border to the Mississippi River.
US elected officials from 1800 to the 1850s were serving family farmers and city dwellers. Their needs were well know and their problems were the same. This was 2 very homogenous groups of voters
In 1890 the US population was 62,979,766, an increase of 25.5% over the 50,189,209 people counted in 1880. The land won in the French and Indian War was being settled.
