Limited Predictive Value
Republicans will have a string of primaries covering most
States from February 1 to June 14, 2016.
I’ve included the Conservative Review Scorecards to determine how conservative these states are.
February 1 2016 - The Iowa Republican Primary vote is
contaminated by ethanol, farm subsidies and social conservatives. No candidate can attack ethanol in Iowa, but
it needs to be removed from our gasoline. It harms engine parts and lowers
engine efficiency. No candidate can suggest that the federal government should
do away with farm subsidies, because farmers don’t trust that they would be
able to raise prices to cover the loss of this subsidy. Social conservatives who
enjoy religious testimony from candidates miss the point that we need to fix
our economy first in order to preserve and restore the US Constitution, the
basis of our religious freedom. They also don’t realize that US foreign aid
goes immediately into the bank account of the dictator we send it to. Iowa
receives too much federal bribe money to be objective or representative. Iowa
is not a hotbed of conservatism. They have 2 US Senators with scores of 55% and
68% and they have 6 House Reps. The 2 Democrats score 14% and 7%. The 4
Republicans score 50%, 69%, 75% and 79%.
February 9 2016 - The New Hampshire Republican Primary vote
represents another island of villagers with their own history and attitudes.
They are Northeasterners and 3 of their 4 members of Congress are really
Democrats who ran as Republicans. They
have 2 US Senators with scores of 37% and 2% and they have 2 US House Reps with
scores of 69% and 7%. Their grades from Conservative Review Scorecard are 1 D and 3 Fs.
February 20 2016 - South Carolina Republican Primary vote
shows a more conservative state that has a solid bench of folks in Congress. They
have 2 Republican US Senators with scores of 38% and 88% and 9 Republican US
House Reps with scores of 96%, 93%, 88%, 86%, 79%, 75%, 71%, 59% and 50%. They
also have 1 Democrat House Rep with a score of 7%.
March 1 2016 – Multiple Republican Primaries would include Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and Wyoming.
March 15 2016 - Florida is 60:40 Republican State, but has
rotated the Governor and Senate slots between Republicans and Democrats. They
have 1 Republican US Senator with a score of 79% and 1 Democrat US Senator with
a score of 4%. They have 17 Republican US House Reps with scores from 25% to
93%. They have 10 Democrat US House Reps with scores from 4% to 19%.
GOP Primaries continue in the States until June.

The early primaries, the polls and the TV “debates” have
identified the current leaders in the Republican Primary race. From here
forward, the other State Republican Primaries are worth watching to determine
if those States will vote Republican or Democrat in the Presidential election
in November.
