Why Would Cruz be Unpopular in DC

Ted Cruz has a Conservative Review Scorecard at 96%.  To score that high, he had to vote NO on any Bill that was unconstitutional.  Ron Paul had a Scorecard of 100% and voted NO on unconstitutional Bills for 30 years. He accurately predicted the serious problems Constitutional Noncompliance would create, but Congress ignored him.  He made them look bad and they didn’t like him.  His nickname was Doctor NO. Rand Paul has a Scorecard of 94% and has voted NO on unconstitutional Bills and they don’t like him either. They are Constitutional Conservatives.

80% of our current House and Senate members vote like Liberals. Only 20% of these members vote like Conservatives.  Democrats have Scorecards that range from 0% to 37%.
The Big Money campaign contributors include K Street lobbyists, global corporations, banks, Marxist non-profits, environmental non-profits, unions, government employees, healthcare, education and others. They don’t want Constitutional Conservatives to have any influence in government.  They like big government, European Socialism, UN governance, carbon taxes, Muslims and no borders.

A President Cruz would likely veto any Bill that was not compliant with the US Constitution.  He would likely support the elimination of unconstitutional federal departments, agencies and programs. He would eliminate the Departments of Education, Energy, EPA and HUD. He would support States taking back federal lands.  He could also support the elimination of Interior, Commerce, Labor, Homeland Security, Transportation and others and send these to the States. He would have to convince a Liberal, big government Congress to write and pass Bills to accomplish this.

I am a Constitutional Conservative and am amazed that Ted Cruz is running a “close number 2”, but I am actually looking forward to a Trump victory.  Trump was the only candidate who attacked the main issues right out of the gate.  He may end up eliminating federal departments, agencies and programs because they hurt our economy or make to sense.  He would take it to the people and that would make the Congress approve these reforms.
